Objective:This study observed the clinical effect of Aidi injection combined with chemotherapy on cancer-related fatigue of Qi-deficiency and toxic-stasis type in patients with colorectal cancer,to explore the role of Aidi injection in the clinical treatment of cancer-related fatigue,and to provide certain reference for the dialectical use of Aidi injection in the treatment of cancer-related fatigue.Methods:61 patients with cancer-related fatigue of Qi-deficiency and toxic-stasis type of colorectal cancer were divided into observation group(30 cases)and control group(31 cases)according to the last number of hospital admission.The control group was treated with XELOX chemotherapy regimen for 2 consecutive treatment cycles.The observation group was treated with chemotherapy combined with Aidi Injection 60ml into 0.9%sodium chloride injection 400ml,once a day,for 7-10 days per cycle.By comparing differences between pre-treatment and post-treatment in Karnofsky Performance score(KPS),TCM syndrome score,The Chinese Revised Piper Fatigue Scale(RPFS)score,white blood cell count,hemoglobin count and platelet count,and observing the occurrence of chemotherapy poisonous side effects after treatment,the clinical efficacy and safety of Aidi injection on cancer-related fatigue in patients with colorectal cancer can be evaluated.Results:1.Comparison of KPS score:After treatment,KPS score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score after treatment of the observation group was higher than that before treatment,while the score after treatment of the control group was lower than that before treatment,and the intra-group differences of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale score:After chemotherapy,the control group’s RPFS score increased,and the change was statistically significant(P<0.05);The RPFS score of the observation group after treatment was not much different from that before treatment,showing no statistical significance(P>0.05).After treatment,the fatigue degree of the observation group was lighter than that of the control group,and the score in emotion,perception,cognitive dimension and total score of the observation group were lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores:There were statistically significant differences in the scores of observation group between pre-treatment and post-treatment in four symptoms:diarrhea,exhaustion,dizziness,eating less(P<0.05),while the control group only had statistically significant differences in constipation symptoms between pre-treatment and post-treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the two groups had statistically significant differences in aspects such as constipation,exhaustion,shortness of breath,perspiration,dizziness,eating less(P<0.05).The total effective rate in TCM syndrome of the observation group(53.33%)was statistically significant higher than that of the control group(9.68%)(P<0.05).4.Comparison of Hemogram:After treatment,white blood cells count,hemoglobin count and platelet count of the two groups were increased or decreased in varying degrees,but the difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment within the observation group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while that within the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,white blood cell counts of the control group increased and that of the observation group decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of poisonous side effects:No serious poisonous side effects occurred in the two groups after treatment.The incidence of myelosuppression and gastrointestinal reactions in the observation group was statistically significant lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference existed in the incidence of neurotoxicity,skin rash and oral mucositis between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Aidi injection has certain curative effect on colorectal cancer patients who had cancer-related fatigue of Qi-deficiency and toxic-stasis type,which can significantly reduce fatigue,improve the TCM syndrome and life function of patients,reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions of chemotherapy,and comprehensively improve patients’ quality of life.
