Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Of Kidney Deficiency And Phlegm Dampness Type Based On The Theory Of "Kidney Communicating With Sanjiao"

Objective: Based on the theory of "kidney communicating with Sanjiao",this paper discusses the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)and discusses the train of thought of differentiation and treatment of PCOS under the guidance of the theory of "kidney communicating with Sanjiao".To observe the clinical efficacy of the method of regulating Sanjiao,tonifying kidney and supplementing Qi,resolving phlegm and removing dampness in the treatment of PCOS of kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness,so as to provide new references and ideas for clinical treatment.Methods: Seventy patients with PCOS of kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness type were randomly divided into observation group(n=35)and control group(n=35).The observation group was treated with Yulin Huatan decoction and Daying-35,while the control group was treated with Daying-35 only for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.The improvement of TCM syndrome,basic body temperature(BBT),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),LH/FSH,estrogen(E2),testosterone(T),fasting insulin(FINS),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)and body mass index(BMI)were observed and analyzed before and after treatment.The difference of curative effect between the two groups was compared.Results: There were 2 shedding cases in the observation group and 2 shedding cases in the control group.(1)After treatment,the total effective rate of clinical comprehensive effect was 84.8% in the observation group and 69.7% in the control group,and there was significant difference between the two groups(<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM clinical syndrome in the observation group was 84.8% and that in the control group was 72.7%.There was significant difference between the two groups(<0.05).There were significant differences in TCM clinical syndrome scores of kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness type between the two groups before and after treatment(<0.01),and the observation group was better than the control group(<0.05).(2)After treatment,the BBT of the two groups were mainly bipolar or atypical bipolar,and there was significant difference between the two groups(<0.01).(3)After treatment,the levels of serum LH,LH/FSH and T in the observation group and the control group decreased significantly,and there were significant differences between the two groups(<0.01).Besides,there were significant differences in LH/FSH and T levels between the two groups after treatment(<0.05),and the difference of LH level was statistically significant(<0.01).There was no significant difference in the levels of FSH and E2 between the two groups before and after treatment(>0.05).(4)After treatment,the levels of FINS and HOMA-IR in both groups decreased significantly,and there were significant differences between the two groups(<0.01).There were significant differences in the levels of FINS and HOMA-IR between the two groups after treatment(<0.05).But there was no significant difference in the level of FPG between the two groups before and after treatment(>0.05).(5)After treatment,the BMI of the two groups decreased significantly,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(<0.05).Conclusion: Under the guidance of the theory of "kidney communicating with Sanjiao",the methods of regulating Sanjiao,tonifying kidney and supplementing Qi,resolving phlegm and removing dampness are effective in the treatment of PCOS of kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness.it can effectively reduce clinical symptoms,reduce BMI,improve sex hormone level,HOMA-IR level and BBT,improve clinical cure rate,and provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of PCOS,which is worthy of further clinical research and promotion.
