| Objective : This study compares the clinical effects of Jiegu pill combined with percutaneous kyphoplasty and percutaneous kyphoplasty alone in the treatment of stage I and II Kummell disease,and discusses its mechanism of action,aiming to open up a new treatment idea and method for Chinese medicine to participate in the treatment of stage I and II Kummell disease,and share relevant treatment experience and experience.Methods : 60 patients with stage I and II Kummell disease who were admitted to the Department of Spinal Orthopedics,Wendeng Osteopathy Hospital,Shandong Province from January 2021 to December 2022,Were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.Both group to underwent percutaneous kyphoplasty.From the first day after the operation,two groups of anti-osteoporosis treatment were given according to the guidelines,including oral vitamin D calcium chewable tablet’s,sodium reserphosphate tablet’s and tetramethylnaphthoquinone soft capsules,The patient is required to continue taking medicine for at least three months after discharge.On the basis of the treatment of the control group,the experimental group was given Jiegu Pill for oral treatment.The patients were required to continue taking the medicine for three months after discharge.The basic data,VAS pain score,ODI index and bone mineral density level of the two groups of patients before and after operation,1 day,7 days and 14 days after operation were recorded and compared.The changes of TCM syndrome score before and after treatment was compared and the occurrence of adverse events during the whole process of treatment was recorded.The research data were processed with statistical software SPSS22.0.Result :1.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,time from fracture to waiting for surgery,operation time,injured vertebral body and other basic data(P>0.05).The data onto the two groups were comparable.2.VAS pain scores : There was significant difference in VAS score at different time points between the two groups(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups on the 1st day after operation(P>0.05),but there was statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups on the 7th and14 th day after operation(P<0.05).3.ODI index : there was significant difference between the two groups of different time points(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the ODI index between the two groups of the first day after operation(P>0.05),but there was statistically significant difference in the ODI index between the two groups on the 7th and 14 th day after operation(P<0.05).4.Bone mineral density level : there was no significant difference in bone mineral density level between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05);The difference of bone mineral density between the two groups at three months after operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.TCM syndrome scores : There was statistically significant difference between the two groups of TCM syndrome score before and after treatment(P<0.05);The effective rate of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was 96.67%,and that in the control group was 86.67%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion: The combination of Jiegu pill and percutaneous kyphoplasty can effectively relieve the pain in the chest,waist and back of patients with stage I and II Kummell disease.For improving the patient’s dysfunction and improving the patient’s self-care ability,the treatment effect of Jiegu pill and percutaneous kyphoplasty is also more obvious.At the same time,the addition of Jiegu pill can significantly improve the TCM syndrome score,and from the long-term effect,The antiosteoporosis effect of Jiegu pill combined with percutaneous kyphoplasty is better than that of percutaneous kyphoplasty alone,which has certain effectiveness. |
