| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy in the treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia(phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome),to study the improvement of blood lipid indexes, the efficacy of TCM syndromes and the feasibility and safety of the experiment,in order to provide reference for the treatment of hyperlipidemia with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy. Methods: A total of 60 patients who met the research requirements in the outpatient department of traditional Chinese medicine and physical examination center of Linyi Central Hospital from September 2021 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases each by random number table method. The control group was treated with oral atorvastatin calcium, and the experimental group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on the basis of the control group for 8 weeks. Before treatment, during treatment(4 weeks after treatment)and after treatment(8 weeks after treatment),the blood lipid indexes, clinical symptoms and signs of patients were objectively evaluated and recorded, and the differences in therapeutic effects between the two groups were compared. Results: 1.Overall clinical efficacy evaluation, the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group(87 %)was better than that of the control group(80 %),and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.05).2.In improving blood lipid indicators2.1 There were significant differences in the reduction of total cholesterol(TC)levels before, during and after treatment in the experimental group(P < 0.05).In the control group, there were significant differences in the reduction of TC levels before and after treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment, the TC level of the experimental group was lower, and the difference was significant(P < 0.05).2.2 There was no significant difference in the level of triglyceride(TG)between the two groups before, during and after treatment(P > 0.05).2.3 There was a significant difference in the level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in the experimental group before and after treatment(P <0.05);There was no significant difference in the increase of HDL-C level in the control group before, during and after treatment(P> 0.05);After treatment,HDL-C in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).2.4 There were significant differences between the two groups in reducing low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)before and after treatment(P< 0.05);LDL-C was lower in the experimental group during and after treatment, but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).3.The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the experimental group(90 %)was higher than that in the control group(43 %),and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.05).4.In terms of reducing TCM syndrome scores, the experimental group was significantly lower than before treatment, during treatment and after treatment(P <0.05);there was no significant difference in the control group before, during and after treatment(P > 0.05);there was significant difference between the two groups during treatment and after treatment(P < 0.05).5.In terms of safety,no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment, and the safety was good. Conclusion : 1.Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy has a significant effect on hyperlipidemia(phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome),and no adverse reactions have occurred.2.The combination of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy can better improve the clinical efficacy, improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with hyperlipidemia(phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome)and reduce the TCM syndrome score. At the same time,it can reduce the levels of TC and LDL-C,increase the level of HDL-C,and effectively regulate blood lipid metabolism. |
