| Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of the treatment of hyperlipidemia(phlegm-stasis type)combined with anxiety state in patients with hyperlipidemia(phlegm-stasis type)using traditional Chinese medicine theory as a guide, and to investigate its effects on controlling blood lipids, improving clinical symptoms and anxiety.Method:Data were collected from 80 patients with hyperlipidemia(phlegm-stasis type)combined with anxiety status who attended the outpatient clinic of the Department of Neurology of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between January 2021 and December 2021 and met the inclusion criteria.Using the random number table method, the patients were randomly divided into a control group and a test group, with 40 cases in each group. After excluding the detached cases,36 cases remained in the control group and 36 cases remained in the test group. There was no statistically significant difference in age, gender, weight, and condition between the two groups(P>0.05).The 36 cases in the control group were given(atorvastatin,10 mg,orally, once a night, and haloperidol melitrexin,0.5 mg,orally,1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the afternoon),and the 36 cases in the experimental group were given(Huanglian Wendan Decoction,100 ml,orally,2 times/day+atorvastatin 10 mg,orally, once a night, and haloperidol melitrexin,0.5 mg,orally,1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the afternoon).(1 tablet in the afternoon),both for a duration of 4 months. The lipid indexes(total cholesterol TC,triglyceride TG,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol LDL-C,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol HDL-C)and Hamilton Anxiety Inventory(HAMA)scores of the two groups were measured before and after treatment, respectively, and were compared and analyzed;the treatment effects of lipid and anxiety status were evaluated before and after treatment, respectively, and were compared and analyzed;the The TCM symptoms were scored in both groups before and after treatment, and the improvement of TCM symptoms was counted and the efficiency was compared;the weight and body mass index(BMI)were measured before and after treatment, and their improvement was compared and analyzed;the electrocardiogram, liver and kidney function, and cardiac enzyme profile were measured before and after treatment, and their changes were compared and analyzed to determine the safety. The statistical software SPSS 26.0 was used to process the data. Results:HAMA points and blood lipid indicators before and after treatment are compared. Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of blood lipid indexes(TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,and HAMA points),(P>0.05),and the two groups were equivalent.Patients in both groups had significantly lower lipid indexes(TC,TG,LDL-C)and HAMA scores after treatment compared to before treatment, and their HDL-C levels had dramatically increased. This difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cholesterol indices(TC,TG,LDL-C)and HAMA score fell more significantly in the test group after treatment compared to the control group, while HDL-C increased more dramatically. This difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The therapeutic effects of blood lipids and HAMA points are compared:Following therapy, the test group had a much greater total effective rate of each blood lipid index(TC,TG,and LDL-C)than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It was statistically significant(P<0.05)that the test group’s total effective rate of HAMA points was higher than that of the control group. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before to therapy(P>0.05),according to a comparison of the available Chinese medical evidence. The difference between the control group and the experimental group’ s TCM syndrome points after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).Following treatment, the experimental group experienced a greater reduction in the accumulation of TCM symptoms than the control group, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of the effectiveness of TCM symptoms:Following treatment, the test group’s total effective rate was statistically higher than that of the control group in both groups(P<0.05).Body weight and BMI comparison:Both groups’weight and BMI significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05)when compared to the pre-treatment period;the test group’s weight and BMI decreased more significantly after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05)when compared to the control group.Safety evaluation:The ECG,liver and renal function, and myocardial enzyme profile of patients after treatment did not alter significantly from those before treatment(P>0.05),demonstrating the safety of this clinical trial. Conclusion:The efficacy of Huanglian Wendan Decoction combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of hyperlipidemia(phlegmstasis type)combined with anxiety state is significantly better than that of conventional western medicine alone.Huanglian Wendan Decoction has an important effect on reducing blood lipids, improving anxiety state and improving Chinese medicine symptoms, and no adverse effects were observed, which has some clinical practical value. |
