Clinical Study Of Chaiqin Zhike Recipe In The Treatment Of Cough Variant Asthma With Liver Fire Invading Lung

Objective:In this study,by observing the clinical effect of Chaiqin anticough prescription in the treatment of liver fire attacking lung type of cough variant asthma,to evaluate its effectiveness and safety,and to provide a new strategy and method for the treatment of liver fire attacking lung type of cough variant asthma.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 patients diagnosed with cough variant asthma liver fire type were selected as research objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Salmeterol Xinafoate and Fluticasone Propionate Powder for Inhalation,and the observation group was treated with Chaiqin cough prescription on the basis of the control group for 4 weeks.The changes of TCM syndrome score,Lycester cough scale score,lung function,exhaled nitric oxide,peripheral blood eosinophil count before and after treatment were observed in both groups,and the recurrence situation was followed up 4 weeks after treatment.The changes of liver and kidney function before and after treatment were observed,and adverse reactions occurred during the study were recorded to evaluate its safety.Results:1.A total of 60 patients were included in this study,of which 58 were completed,including 29 in the control group and 29 in the observation group.There were no significant differences in age,gender,course of disease and other baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.10%,and that of the control group was 68.97%.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group.3.After treatment,the total scores of TCM syndroms in both groups were decreased,and the reduction degree of observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).In terms of TCM syndrome scores,the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),except for the symptom of redness and red face.Both groups of patients were improved after treatment,and the improvement of symptoms in the observation group was more obvious(P<0.05).There was no improvement in the symptom of redness after treatment in both groups(P<0.05).4.In terms of Lycester cough scale total score,regional score and lung function(FEV1%pred,FEV1/FVC),there were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and all indexes in the two groups were improved after treatment,and the improvement in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).5.In terms of exhaled nitric oxide level and peripheral blood eosinophil count,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),exhaled nitric oxide level and peripheral blood eosinophil count were both reduced after treatment,and the reduction was more significant in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).6.Four weeks after the end of treatment,the researchers paid a follow-up visit to the patients with effective treatment.The recurrence rate was 10.70% in the observation group and 34.50% in the control group,and there was a statistical difference between the two group(P<0.05).7.Safety indicators: No significant abnormalities in liver and renal function were observed in all patients before and after treatment,and no obvious adverse reactions occurred during treatment.Conclusions:The application of Chaiqin anticough prescription combined with Salmeterol Xinafoate and Fluticasone Propionate Powder for Inhalation in the treatment of patients with cough variant asthma with liver fire and lung type can effectively relieve symptoms,improve lung function,reduce recurrence rate,reduce FeNO level and peripheral blood EOS count,and improve quality of life.The efficacy is significantly better than that of Salmeterol Xinafoate and Fluticasone Propionate Powder for Inhalation alone,and there were no adverse reactions.These results indicate that chaiqin antitussive prescription can improve the efficacy,good safety,worthy of clinical application.
