Clinical Observation Of Wenshen Zhuyang Decoction Combined With Letrozole In The Treatment Of PCOS Ovulatory Obstructive Infertility

Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of Wenshen Zhuyang Decoction combined with letrozole in the treatment of ovulation dysfunction infertility of polycystic ovary syndrome(kidney-yang deficiency type).Methods: Sixty patients with ovulation dysfunction infertility of polycystic ovary syndrome(kidney-yang deficiency type)were included and randomly divided into western medicine and Chinese and Western medicine group,with 30 cases in western medicine and 35 cases in Chinese and Western medicine group.In the western medicine group,letrozole was taken orally 2.5mg/ time,once/day,for 5 days on the 5th day of the menstrual cycle(or drug withdrawal bleeding).In the Chinese and Western medicine group,Wenshen Zhuyang Decoction was added.After purification,Wenshen Zhuyang Decoction began to be taken until ovulation was monitored by B-ultrasound.If no ovulation was observed for 28 days,the prescription was stopped.Patients in both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles,and then ovulation rate,sex hormone level,clinical pregnancy rate,TCM syndrome score and other clinical indicators were observed and recorded.And then follow-up of 3 months after drug withdrawal record their menstrual cycle.Results: 1.Comparison of basic data between the two groups: Before starting the treatment,the basic information(age,course of disease,menstrual cycle,sex hormone level and TCM symptom score)of the two groups of patients were respectively compared,and no statistically significant differences(P >0.05)were found,which suggested that there was comparability between the two groups.2.The results showed that:(1)the two groups were effective on the values of LH,LH/FSH and T,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).In terms of LH value,the Chinese and Western medicine group was better than the western group.(2)The difference in endometrial thickness between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)Differences in the periodic ovulation rate and clinical pregnancy rate were significant between the two groups(P < 0.05),in which the data of the traditional Chinese and western medicine group were significantly higher than that of the western medicine group.(4)The difference in TCM symptom score before and after treatment was statistically significant between the two groups(P < 0.05),in which the data of the traditional Chinese and western medicine group was higher than that of the western medicine group.The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese and western medicine group was much higher than that of the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)After 3 months of follow-up,compared with the western medicine group,the traditional Chinese and western medicine group shows a better effect in the recovery of menstrual cycle,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion(s): In the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome ovulation dysfunction infertility(kidney-yang deficiency type),the combination of Wenshen Zhuyang Decoction and letrozole has more obvious clinical efficacy.It can not only improve ovulation rate and clinical pregnancy rate,but also has better efficacy than letrozole alone in aspects of endometrial thickness during ovulation,TCM symptoms and post-treatment menstrual cycle.
