Objective1.Through a self-designed questionnaire,this study investigates the disaster response ability level of nursing undergraduates in Liaoning province and analyzes its influencing factors,understand the needs of nursing students for disaster nursing courses,so as to provide evidence for the construction of intervention programs to improve the disaster response ability of nursing students.2.Theoretical teaching based on constructivism theory and skill teaching combined with virtual simulation program are carried out to form an intervention program for disaster nursing teaching,and the program is applied to undergraduate nursing students to analyze its application effect,in order to provide reference for the development of disaster nursing education in the future.Methods1.Survey research: using convenient sampling method to select three colleges and universities in Liaoning province 1031 nursing undergraduate in school as the research object,using self-made questionnaire of the nursing undergraduates in disaster response capacity on the questionnaire survey,understand the nursing undergraduates disasters in Liaoning province and the present situation of public health emergency response capacity and analyze its influencing factors.2.Intervention study: From May to July,2021,six classes of students majoring in nursing from grade 20 in a medical college in Liaoning Province were selected as research objects,and they were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method,of which 88 were in the experimental group and 91 were in the control group.The teaching mode of the experimental group is guided by constructivism theory and combined with virtual simulation program,while the control group adopts traditional teaching mode.The two groups of students use the same teaching materials,teaching duration(20 class hours),teachers and teaching content.One week after the end of the teaching,the General Self-efficacy Scale,the Scale of Independent Learning Ability of Nursing College Students,theory test and skills test were used for investigation and analysis.Results1.A Questionnaire on disaster Response ability of nursing undergraduates was developed and its reliability and validity was tested.The total Kronbach coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.982,and the Kronbach coefficient of the three dimensions were 0.966,0.975 and 0.955,respectively.The total Guttman half-coefficients of the questionnaire are 0.920,and the Guttman half-coefficients of the three dimensions are 0.924,0.975 and 0.982,indicating that the internal consistency of the questionnaire is high and the reliability is good.The content validity of the questionnaire item level was 0.80-1.0,and that of the scale level was 0.941,indicating that the content validity of the scale was good.Principal component analysis was used to carry out maximum orthogonal rotation of variance.The inclusion criterion of items was factor load ≥0.4.A total of 34 items were extracted,and 3 factors with eigenvalue ≥1 were extracted.2.The score items of disaster response ability of nursing undergraduates were all 3.77±0.68.The scores of each dimension from low to high were skills(3.66±0.78),knowledge(3.73±0.74),emotion(3.99±0.68).The main factors influencing the nursing undergraduates in disaster response capacity for source,whether involved in disaster rescue,whether received disaster nursing teaching,whether to participate in disaster rescue training courses,whether to accept a disaster nursing teaching,whether received online teaching of nursing science,whether to accept the virtual simulation teaching.3.There was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),there was no significant difference in the scores of general self-efficacy and autonomous learning ability between the two groups(P>0.05),compared between the two groups.After the teaching,the theoretical test scores of the two groups of students were compared,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the score of experimental group was higher than that of control group;There was no statistically significant difference in skill test scores between the two groups(P>0.05);There was statistically significant difference in the scores of general self-efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05),the score of experimental group was higher than that of control group;There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of independent learning ability between the two groups(P<0.05),the score of experimental group was higher than that of control group.Conclusions1.In this research,the disaster response ability of nursing undergraduates is at a medium level,which is affected by many factors.In the teaching of disaster nursing,we should pay attention to the reform of teaching contents and methods in order to improve the disaster response ability of nursing undergraduates.2.The application of virtual simulation teaching mode based on constructivism theory in disaster nursing teaching is helpful to improve the disaster nursing knowledge level,general self-efficacy and autonomous learning ability of nursing undergraduates.
