| ObjectiveIn this study,the effect of smoking on s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in serum of asthmatic patients and healthy people was investigated by detecting the changes in the expression levels of s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in the serum of patients with asthma who smoked.To assess the effect of smoking on serum expression levels of s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in asthmatic patients and healthy people.MethodsCollected from January 2021 to December 2021 in the respiratory ward of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shenyang Medical CollegeOutpatient asthma patients,(diagnosed in line with the 2021 Global Asthma Management and Prevention Strategy)80 cases,according to aspiration The smoke index SI(support year)divided asthma patients into SI≥200 smoking group and 40 cases in the non-smoking group,and collected 80 healthy cases who came to the physical examination department of our hospital during the same period as the control group,and also divided asthma patients into SI≥200 smoking group and 40 cases in non-smoking group according to the smoking index SI(support year),and recorded the basic information of all subjects,and the samples were used enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)The concentrations of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in each group were detected,and the SPSS 27.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data of each group,and the basic clinical data and serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs levels of each group were compared.Binary logistic regression analysis was performed on serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs,and the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was plotted,and the effect of smoking on s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in the serum of asthmatic patients and healthy people was judged according to the area under the curve(AUC)and the Joden index.(All were based on α=0.05,P indicating that the difference was statistically significant).Results(1)According to the comparison of general clinical data(including age,sex,height,weight,BMI),there was no significant difference between the smoking group with SI ≥200 and the non-smoking group with asthma and the control group(P>0.05).(2)For the comparison of CRP,white blood cell(WBC),neutrophil count(N)and neutrophil percentage(N%),there was no statistically significant difference between the asthma group and the control group in the SI ≥ 200 smoking group and non-smoking group(P>0.05).(3)The expression of Cy LTs in the normal group was 351.70 ± 67.88,and that in the asthma group was 834.07 ± 146.52.The level of Cy LTs in the asthma group was significantly higher than that in the normal group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The expression of s PLA2 in the normal group was 518.46 ± 110.30,and that in the asthma group was 1334.92 ± 261.16,which was significantly higher than that in the normal group(P<0.01).(4)The expression level of Cys LTs in the serum of smoking group and non-smoking group with asthma SI ≥ 200,smoking group and non-smoking group with control group SI ≥200,was 967.23 ± 11.29,697.94 ± 5.02358.21 ± 8.29,336.11 ± 8.69.The expression level of serum Cys LTs in smoking group with asthma SI ≥ 200 was significantly higher than that in non-smoking group with asthma,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the expression level of serum Cys LTs between smoking group and non-smoking group in the control group(SI ≥ 200)(P>0.05).The expression level of serum s PLA2-X in the smoking group and non-smoking group with asthma SI ≥ 200,the smoking group and non-smoking group with asthma SI ≥ 200 were1564.13 ± 130.13,1099.32 ± 101.71538.40 ± 86.87,484.51 ± 88.13,and the expression level of serum s PLA2-X in the smoking group with asthma SI ≥ 200 was significantly higher than that in the non-smoking group with asthma,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the expression level of s PLA2-X in the serum of smoking group and non-smoking group with SI ≥ 200 in the control group(P>0.05)(5)Logistic regression analysis showed that serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs were independent predictors of asthma(OR value: s PLA2-X=1.592;Cys LTs=1.207;P<0.05).Then the ROC curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of the two factors on asthma.It can be seen that the AUC of serum s PLA2-X in predicting asthma was 0.927(95% CI:0.874-0.981,P<0.05),the Yoden index,sensitivity and specificity were 0.855,0.937 and0.918,respectively,and the critical value was 864.71 ng/m L;The AUC of serum Cys LTs for predicting asthma was 0.908(95% CI: 0.867-0.949,P<0.05).The Yoden index,sensitivity and specificity were 0.840,0.928 and 0.912,respectively,and the critical value was 500.73ng/m L.The AUC of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in predicting asthma was 0.953(95% CI:0.921-0.986,P<0.05),and the Yoden index,sensitivity and specificity were 0.858,0.897 and0.961,respectively.ConclusionsThe expression levels of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in asthmatic patients were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the expression of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in asthmatic smoking group was higher than that in non-smoking group,suggesting that smoking can affect the levels of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs in asthmatic patients,and the increase of serum s PLA2-X and Cys LTs can also predict the acute attack of
