| Objective:To explore the relationship between three different glomerular filtration rates and mild cognitive impairment in elderly women,and to further explore whether three different glomerular filtration rates has predictive value in the diagnosis of MCI in elderly women.Materials and methods:Eighty-five patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)were selected as the MCI group,and 86 healthy subjects were selected as the healthy control group.Laboratory blood test results,cognitive function scores and general information were collected for each participant.The glomerular filtration rate(GFR)was calculated by the modified MDRD formula(GFRMDRD),CKD-EPIScr formula(GFRCKD-EPIcr)and Xiangya equation(GFRXiangya).The difference of baseline level of various indicators between the two groups was analyzed.Correlation analysis was used to evaluate and analyze the correlation between the three GFRs and MMSE score and Mo CA score.The correlation coefficients of MMSE,Mo CA and GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcr and GFRXiangyawere calculated by linear regression.The influencing factors of MCI were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis.The diagnostic efficacy of the three GFRs for MCI was analyzed using ROC curves and compared with the area under the curve(AUC)Results:(1)GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyain the MCI group were significantly lower than those in the HC group(p<0.001),and the serum creatinine level was significantly higher than that in the HC group(p<0.001).(2)In Spearman analysis,GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyawere moderately positively correlated with MMSE score,and the correlation coefficients r were 0.516,0.470 and 0.500(p<0.001).Mo CA score was positively correlated with GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyawhich the coefficients were 0.685,0.616 and0.666(p<0.001).(3)Linear regression analysis showed that GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyahad positive effects on MMSE and Mo CA scores(p<0.001).(4)Logistic regression analysis showed that GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyawere protective factors for MCI in elderly women(p<0.001).(5)ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyain predicting mild cognitive impairment in elderly women were 0.703,0.667 and 0.668.Conclusion:GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyahave a positive relationship with cognitive function score,and the increase of glomerular filtration rate was a protective factor for mild cognitive impairment in elderly women.GFRMDRD,GFRCKD-EPIcrand GFRXiangyahave significance as early diagnostic criteria for mild cognitive impairment in elderly women. |
