Purpose:Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor that often requires surgery.Postoperative intestinal obstruction is a common complication, which may cause serious consequences, affect the quality of life of patients and even lead to death. Therefore,it is of great significance to retrospectively analyze the risk factors of early intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer, which can help doctors identify high-risk patients before operation and take preventive measures to reduce the risk of early postoperative intestinal obstruction, and also provide theoretical basis for improving the quality of life of patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction.Method:A retrospective analysis was made of the clinical data of the patients who were admitted to the gastrointestinal, colorectal and anal surgery department of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital of Jilin University from July 2019 to December 2021 and underwent radical surgery for colon cancer, and were confirmed to be malignant tumors and without distant metastasis by pathology after surgery.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of this study,a total of 714 patients were screened, and 34 patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction were selected. These 34 patients were taken as the case group, including 22 males and 12 females,The age was(62.76 ± 3.98)years old,and 68 patients without intestinal obstruction during the same period of surgery were selected as the control group with age and sex as covariates,The patient’s sex, age, height, weight, body mass index(BMI),preoperative serum albumin, preoperative hemoglobin, hypertension history, diabetes history, cardiovascular history, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease history, smoking history, drinking history, intraoperative bleeding degree, operation mode, operation time, whether to combine organ resection, whether to transfuse blood after operation, tumor length, and tumor stage were statistically analyzed. The risk factors of early intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer were obtained by SPSS26.0analysis software using single factor analysis and multiple factor regression analysis.Result:Through retrospective analysis, univariate analysis was performed on the possible related indicators of early intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer: there was no significant difference between the case group and the control group(P>0.05)in body mass index(P=0.610),albumin(P=0.692),hemoglobin(P=0.488),hypertension history(P=0.089),diabetes history(P=0.452),cardiovascular history(P=0.834),chronic obstructive pulmonary disease history(P=1.000),drinking history(P=0.761),intraoperative bleeding degree(P=0.496),operation time(P=0.238),postoperative blood transfusion(P=0.308),tumor length(P=0.484),tumor stage(P=0.114).There was statistical significance(P<0.05)in smoking history(P=0.467),the operation mode(P=0.022)and whether or not to resect the combined organs(P=0.029).Multivariate analysis results: The risk factors of intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer include:surgery combined with visceral resection; The protective factors of intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer are:laparoscopic surgery is the choice of operation mode.Conclusion:1.The risk factors of intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer include smoking history, surgery combined with organ resection.2.The protective factors of intestinal obstruction after radical resection of colon cancer include the choice of laparoscopic surgery.
