| Objective:The function and module content of We Chat mini program for self-management of enterostomy patients were constructed based on the integrated theory of health behavior change.Through professional scale and preliminary experiment, the usability and effectiveness of enterostomy self-management We Chat mini program were studied.Methods:1.The method of descriptive study and semi-structured interview were adopted to understand patients’ demands for the content and function of enterostomy self-management We Chat mini program, laying a foundation for further research.2.Based on the integrated theory of health behavior change and the results of patient needs interviews, the functional framework of We Chat mini program was preliminarily constructed, and the final functional framework of We Chat mini program was formed by revising, supplementing and improving it through expert consultation and combining with expert opinions.3.Consult disease-related guidelines, literature and other materials, construct a preliminary content plan based on the interview results of patients’ needs, and revise, supplement and improve the final We Chat mini program content plan based on expert consultation and expert opinions.4.A professional computer technical team completed the development of We Chat mini program.5.Questionnaire survey was adopted to select clinical patients for the usability test of We Chat mini program system, and the usability evaluation was completed.Thirty patients with colostomy of colorectal cancer were selected as research objects to try out We Chat mini program and fill in the system usability test questionnaire.6.Clinical patients were selected for pre-experiment,effectiveness study was carried out,and intervention effect of enterostomy self-management We Chat mini program on patients was evaluated.Thirty patients with colostomy of colorectal cancer were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 15 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group,on the basis of the control group, used the self-management We Chat mini program developed in this study, and the intervention time was 12 weeks.Self-efficacy,quality of life, social support,anxiety,depression,self-management and other indicators were evaluated at baseline, one month and three months in both groups.Results:1.Under the framework of integrated theory of health behavior change, the final construction of the ostomy self-management We Chat mini program of six functional modules, namely: cutting edge information, course learning, questionnaire testing, health management, health assistant, personal information module.2.Through consulting relevant disease guides and books, and combining the results of patient needs interviews and expert correspondence, professional knowledge including diet guidance, daily life guidance, ostomy nursing procedures, ostomy and pelvic floor muscle training methods, observation and nursing of the ostomy and its surrounding skin, prevention and treatment of ostomy complications, and psychological relaxation training were finally determined.3.The usability of We Chat mini program was highly evaluated by patients with ostomy. The total score of the system usability scale was 78.83±4.46 points, and the score of the Usability subscale was 77.50±5.73 points.Learnability subscale score was 84.17±7.17 points, the average score of each item of the system usability scale was nearly 3 points.4.The pre-experiment intervention effect of We Chat mini program was evaluated well.Finally,30 subjects completed the pre-experiment,including 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. No shedding samples were found during the pre-experiment.There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups before intervention(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.Except for social support indicators, there were statistically significant differences in scores of various outcome indicators between the two groups one month after intervention and three months after intervention(P <0.05).The results of intra-group comparison showed that there were significant differences in the scores of various outcome indicators at different time points(P <0.05);There was an interaction effect between time and group(P < 0.05),and the scores of various outcome indicators of patients in different groups were significantly different over time(P < 0.05).The results of inter-group comparison showed that there were significant differences in the scores of various outcome indicators between the two groups(P < 0.05).The We Chat mini program of self-management of ostomy can effectively improve the self-efficacy,quality of life and self-management ability of patients with ostomy, and improve the adverse psychological state of patients with anxiety and depression.Conclusion:1.Based on the integrated theory of health behavior change, the We Chat mini program for self-management of enterostomy has scientific content, rich functions, simple interface and simple operation, which can meet the basic needs of self-management of patients with enterostomy and has good clinical application value.2.The self-management form of colorectal cancer ostomy patients based on We Chat mini program can effectively improve patients’ self-efficacy,quality of life and self-management ability, and improve the adverse psychological state of patients with anxiety and depression. |
