With the diagnosis of serious diseases becoming younger and more regular,high medi cal costs have gradually become a burden on ordinary families.The development of th e Internet has facilitated medical crowdfunding,and medical crowdfunding has gradu ally become a way to solve the problem of high costs caused by the diagnosis of serio us diseases.Medical crowdfunding provides a strong guarantee for sick groups with fi nancial pressure to avoid falling into the dilemma of “poverty due to illness or return t o poverty due to illness” due to medical funding problems.In order to improve the success rate of medical crowdfunding projects,existing studie s have explored the factors affecting the crowdfunding projects,but there is a lack of r esearch on the differences between age groups of these factors.Therefore,this paper t akes cancer-related medical crowdfunding projects on Go Fund Me website as the data set.The One-way ANOVA test method was used to test the differences between the fi ve influencing factors in age groups,and on this basis,grouping regression was carrie d out to explore the influence differentiation of different age groups and the moderatin g effect of age.The study found: firstly,there are significant differences in gender,number of donatio ns,breast cancer,money,topic of disease diagnosis variables for projects initiated by f undraisers of different ages,that is,there are differences between age groups;secondl y,on the whole,the explained variables were significantly affected by the characteristi cs of the fundraiser,the basic information of the fundraising project and the words in t he text of the fundraising project;finally,age has a moderating effect on the influence of the five dimensions on the explained variables,that is,age has a significant modera ting effect.In addition to the characteristics of the fundraiser,the basic information of the fundraising project and the words in the description text of the fundraising project,the projects initiated by teenagers were more likely to be affected by the type of canc er in the fundraising project,the projects initiated by young people were more likely t o be affected by the type of cancer in the fundraising project and the topic in the descr iption text of the fundraising project,and the projects initiated by middle-aged people were more likely to be affected by the topic factors of the description text.Based on the results,suggestions were made from the perspectives of the three partici pating parties: fundraisers,fundraising platforms and donors,to promote the complian ce and rapid development of domestic medical crowdfunding platforms,improve the s uccess rate of medical crowdfunding projects,and provide public welfare support to m ore fundraisers in need of medical assistance to solve the huge pressure of life caused by high costs. |
