behavior was statistically significant(P < 0.01);the positive effect of organizational support on psychological capital was statistically significant(P < 0.01);and the positive effect of psychological capital on organizational citizenship behavior was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The regression analysis of the variables perception of organizational support, psychological capital, its dimensions and organizational citizenship behaviour showed that the three dimensions of psychological capital, namely hope,self-efficacy and resilience, positively influenced the organizational citizenship behaviour of medical staff, excluding the optimism dimension, indicating that the three dimensions of psychological capital, namely hope,self-efficacy and resilience, partially mediated the relationship between the perception of organizational support and organizational citizenship behaviour of medical staff. Finally, based on the findings of the study and related theories, and taking into account the actual situation in mental health institutions, this study summarises the causes and shortcomings and proposes specific measures to emphasise the creation of an organisational climate where individuals feel a fair, friendly and reasonable environment, where individuals are more confident, optimistic and proactive, which is conducive to their current work concentration and engagement, and their staff, establish a modern hospital management system, continuously improve internal communication mechanisms, deepen the connotation of talent training and mental health promotion, establish a
