Objective:TO investigate the clinical significance of miRNA-126(microRNA 126/miR-126)expression in peripheral blood of patients with coronary heart disease and its relationship with prognosis.Methods:(1)During the period from August 2020 to March 2022,84 inpatients with coronary heart disease diagnosed by coronary angiography and meeting the inclusion criteria were selected from the Cardiovascular Department of Guangxi People’s Hospital with the chief complaint of "chest tightness/chest pain",and 30 patients with coronary heart disease excluded by coronary angiography at the same time.According to the results of coronary angiography and clinical diagnosis,84 patients were divided into coronary heart disease group(CHD)and 30 patients with coronary heart disease excluded as the control group,The coronary heart disease group was divided into unstable angina pectoris(UA)group(43 cases),stable angina pectoris(SAP)group(20 cases)and acute myocardial infarction(AMI)group(21 cases);According to the number of lesion branches involved in coronary artery,the coronary artery disease group was divided into single vessel disease group(23 cases)and multiple vessel disease group(61 cases);According to the follow-up records,patients with coronary heart disease were divided into two groups:21 patients with poor prognosis and 63 patients with good prognosis;(2)Baseline data and peripheral blood samples of the enrolled patients were collected,and the expression of miRNA-126 in peripheral blood was measured by qPCR;(3)Sort out data and analyze data.Results:(1)Compared with the control group,the expression level of miRNA-126 in peripheral blood of coronary heart disease group was up-regulated,and the expression level of miRNA126 in peripheral blood of UA group,SAP group and AMI group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression level of miRNA126 in peripheral blood of patients in UA group,AMI group and SAP group increased gradually,while there was no significant difference between UA group and AMI group,UA group and SAP group,AMI group and SAP group(P>0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the expression level of miRNA126 between the single-vessel disease group and multi-vessel disease group(P>0.05).The relative expression level of miRNA126 in the poor prognosis group was higher than that in the good prognosis group.The relative expression level of miRNA126 was different between the good prognosis group and the poor prognosis group,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The relative expression level of miRNA 126 in peripheral blood was positively correlated with troponin,triglyceride,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and smoking history.The occurrence of MACE was positively correlated with the relative expression level of miRNA 126 and triglyceride(P<0.05),but not with the number of coronary artery lesions(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The expression level of miRNA-126 in peripheral blood of patients with coronary heart disease was up-regulated,and the expression level of miRNA-126 in acute myocardial infarction group and stable angina pectoris group was significantly increased;(2)The occurrence of MACE is related to the relative expression of miRNA 126,which may be related to the occurrence of MACE in patients with coronary heart disease in the later stage;(3)The relative expression level of miRNA126 in the poor prognosis group is higher than that in the good prognosis group.The expression level of miRNA126 may have a certain predictive value for the prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease.
