The Relationship Between Serum FABP4,Blood Lipid,BMI And Prostate Cancer | | Posted on:2024-06-12 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:S B Liang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2544307073498444 | Subject:Surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective: To investigate the correlation of blood lipids,body mass index(BMI)and serum fatty acid binding protein 4(FABP4)concentration with the pathological characteristics of prostate cancer patients.To lay the foundation for further finding serum specific markers of prostate cancer.Methods:(1)Retrospective study: according to the inclusion criteria,59 patients with prostate cancer and 68 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were collected.The differences of blood lipid and BMI between the two groups were analyzed.The prostate cancer group was compared according to the Gleason score and the presence or absence of bone metastasis.When prostate specific antigen(PSA)≤10ng/ml,the relationship between total PSA and free PSA/ total PSA in prostate cancer group and benign prostatic hyperplasia group was analyzed.ROC curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic ability of total PSA combined with blood lipid and BMI for prostate cancer.(2)FABP4 assay: 30 patients with prostate cancer and 34 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were collected according to the inclusion criteria.Serum FABP4 concentration was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and the difference of serum FABP4 concentration between the two groups was analyzed.The prostate cancer group was compared between subgroups according to Gleason score and bone metastasis.The correlation between FABP4 and blood lipids,BMI,and total PSA was analyzed.The predictive value of FABP4 as a tumor marker was evaluated by ROC curve.(3)Bioinformatics technology: Analyze the difference in expression of FABP4 between prostate cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue,and analyze the relationship between FABP4 expression levels and different Gleason scoring groups in prostate cancer tissue.Results:(1)Retrospective study: the BMI of the BPH group was higher than that of the PCa group,and the lipoproteins(a)of the PCa group was higher than that of the BPH group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in other blood lipid indexes(P >0.05).Correlation analysis showed that Gleason grade of prostate cancer was negatively correlated with apolipoprotein A-Ⅰ,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference in other blood lipid indicators(P > 0.05).The levels of total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,apolipoprotein B and lipoproteins(a)in prostate cancer with and without bone metastasis were higher than those in prostate cancer with bone metastasis(P < 0.05),and there were no significant differences in other blood lipid indexes(P > 0.05).When total PSA≤10ng/ml,there was no significant difference in total PSA and free PSA/ total PSA between prostate cancer group and benign prostatic hyperplasia group(P > 0.05).The total PSA combined with BMI and lipoprotein(a)has a certain predictive value for prostate cancer.(2)FABP4 test: the serum level of FABP4 in prostate cancer group was significantly higher than that in benign prostatic hyperplasia group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in serum FABP4 concentration between prostate cancer with and without bone metastasis(P > 0.05).Correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between different Gleason score groups and serum FABP4 concentration in prostate cancer group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The results of correlation analysis showed that serum FABP4 concentration was positively correlated with total PSA,and negatively correlated with BMI(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in other blood lipid indicators(P > 0.05).FABP4 has a certain predictive value for prostate cancer.(3)FABP4bioinformatics: analysis of TCGA database and GTEx database showed that the expression level of FABP4 in prostate cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent normal tissues(P < 0.05).UALCAN was used to analyze the association between FABP4 and Gleason score of prostate cancer in TCGA database.Conclusion: 1.Blood lipid and BMI are associated with bone metastasis and prognosis of prostate cancer;2.FABP4 may play an important role in the lipid metabolism of prostate cancer and optimize the diagnosis of prostate cancer. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | FABP4, prostate cancer, blood lipids, PSA, BMI | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
