Objective: To look into the role that miR-124-3p and ITGB1 play in the expression and mechanism of gastric cancer, and to offer helpful hints for the study and therapy of this disease.Methods:(1)Through a bioinformatics website,ITGB1 was predicted to be the downstream target gene of miR-124-3p,and the differential expression and survival analyses of miR-124-3p and ITGB1 were examined;(2)It was discovered that miR-124-3p directly targets the regulation of ITGB1 through the cell culture and transfection of gastric cancer cells,RT-q PCR analysis,Western Blot,Dual-luciferase reporter assay,etc.(3)The effects of miR-124-3p and ITGB1 on the malignant biological behavior of gastric cancer cells were examined by Wound-healing assay,Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK8)assay,Western Blot,etc.Results:(1)miR-124-3p expression is low and ITGB1 expression is high in gastric cancer, which is associated with a poor prognosis;(2)miR-124-3p directly targets the regulation of ITGB1 in gastric cancer;(3)miR-124-3p inhibits the migration and proliferation of gastric cancer cells, and knocks down ITGB1 inhibits the migration, proliferation and metastasis of gastric cancer cells. Conclusion: miR-124-3p inhibits proliferation, migration, and EMT of gastric cancer cells by targeting ITGB1.
