| PurposeThe goal of this study is to study the efficacy of Xinfukang in the treatment of sick sinus syndrome with heart-kidney Yang deficiency and its effect on sinus rhythm rate of 24 h active electrocardiography and levels of NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in serum,And then explore its mechanism of action,and provide treatment and ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of SSS with traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsPatients with sick sinus syndrome of heart-kidney Yang deficiency were selected from the elderly cardiology department of Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,54 patients were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was given conventional basic treatment,and the treatment group was given Xinfukang combined with conventional basic treatment.the actual enrollment was 27 cases in both groups and they were observed for 30 days.The total efficacy of TCM syndromes and24 h active electrocardiography,single syndrome score of main symptoms,mean heart rate of 24 h active electrocardiography,lowest sinus rhythm rate,the number of long RR intervals,levels of NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in serum and safety indicators were compared between the two groups by statistical analysis method.Results(1)There were no dropout cases in the Xinfukang treatment group and control group,so the actual enrollment was 27 cases in both groups.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,and course of disease,as well as whether cardiovascular disease was present(P > 0.05).(2)Total curative effect of TCM syndrome: the TCM syndromes of the two groups were effective,and no aggravation was observed.The total effective rates were 92.59%(25/27)and 66.67%(18/27),respectively.the Xinfukang treatment group is more effective than the control group(P < 0.05).(3)Total efficacy of active electrocardiography: The active electrocardiography of the two groups were improved,and no deterioration or significant aggravation was observed.The total effective rates of the two groups were 88.89% and 62.97%,respectively.the Xinfukang treatment group is more effective than the control group(P< 0.05).(4)The total score of TCM syndrome: The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were decreased(P < 0.05),The Xinfukang treatment group was better than the control group in improving the TCM syndrome score(P < 0.05).(5)The single symptom score of TCM main symptoms: There were statistically significant differences in the scores of palpitation,shortness of breath,dizziness and chest tightness between the two groups(P < 0.05),The scores of palpitation,dizziness and shortness of breath in the Xinfukang treatment group were better than those in the control group(P < 0.05).There was no difference in the reduction of chest tightness integral(P > 0.05).(6)Mean heart rate of 24 h active electrocardiography: The mean heart rate of active electrocardiography increased in both groups(P < 0.05),and the Xinfukang treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).(7)Lowest sinus rhythm rate: the lowest sinus rhythm rate of the two groups was improved after treatment(P < 0.05),and the Xinfukang treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).(8)The number of long RR intervals: both groups could improve the number of long RR intervals on active electrocardiography after treatment(P < 0.05),and the Xinfukang treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).(9)NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in serum: The levels of serum NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in the two groups all decreased after treatment(P < 0.05),The Xinfukang treatment group was better than the control group in reducing the levels of serum NT-proBNP and hs-CRP(P < 0.05).(10)Safety indicators: There were no obvious abnormalities in liver and kidney function indexes(ALT,AST,BUN,CREA)in the two groups(P > 0.05),and no abnormalities in urine,stool routine and fecal occult blood.No adverse events occurred during the observation period.Conclusion(1)Xinfukang combined with conventional basic treatment can reduce the total TCM syndrome score of patients with sick sinus,and the curative effect is better than the simple conventional basic treatment.(2)Xinfukang combined with conventional basic treatment can improve the active electrocardiography,raise the mean heart rate and the lowest sinus rhythm rate of active electrocardiography,and reduce the number of long RR intervals in active electrocardiography.The curative effect is better than conventional basic treatment.(3)Xinfukang combined with conventional basic treatment is superior in reducing serum NT-proBNP and hs-CRP levels.(4)The clinical application of Xinfukang is safe and effective,with no obvious adverse reactions. |
