Objective:In this study,by observing the clinical efficacy of Jiang’s five-step method based on the theory of "simultaneous lifting of muscles and bones" and conventional massage method in the treatment of cervical headache,to explore the advantages of Jiang’s five-step method based on the theory of "simultaneous lifting of muscles and bones" in the treatment of cervical headache,so as to provide a valuable and effective treatment method for the treatment of cervical headache.Method:According to the diagnosis, inclusion and exclusion criteria of cervical headache,a total of 60 patients with neck headache were enrolled from the massage clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional massage,The treatment group was given five-step intervention by Jiang’s method.Once per day,10 times per course,a total of 20 treatments.Score evaluation was completed after 1 course of treatment and 2 courses of treatment, respectively. The Visual analogue score(VAS)proposed by the famous British neurophysiology professor Melzak was used to evaluate the pain level of patients.range of motion(ROM)was used to reflect the limited movement of the neck of patients,so as to evaluate the severity of the neck condition of patients with cervicogenic headache.Headache Impact Test-6(HIT-6)was used to determine the severity of headache.Score information of the two groups before and after treatment was collected, and the therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared, and and compare the result statistics.Results:1.Comparison of basic data: There was no significant difference in basic data between 2groups(P>0.05).2.There was no significant difference in VAS level assessment between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After one course of treatment, the comparison of VAS scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two intervention methods could improve the degree of pain, and the improvement of Jiang’s five-step method was more obvious. After 2 courses of treatment,VAS score decreased significantly in the treatment group compared with 1 course of treatment, but no significant difference was found in the control group(P > 0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups. The results indicated that the five-step treatment could continuously reduce the pain degree of patients, while the improvement of the pain after the second course of conventional massage was less obvious than that after the first course of treatment.3.There was no big difference in ROM score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After one course of treatment, the ROM scores of both groups were lower than before, and the statistical results were significant(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups is meaningless. After 2 courses of treatment, the intra-group and inter-group comparisons were statistically significant.(P < 0.05).It is suggested that both conventional massage and five-step treatment can improve the range of motion of cervical vertebrae after treatment, but the effect of five-step treatment is better than that of conventional massage after 2 courses of treatment.4.The HIT-6 scores before treatment were similar between the two groups(P >0.05),after two courses of treatment, the scores of HIT-6 in the two groups were significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.05).It is suggested that the five-step method of Jiang and conventional massage can be effective, but the five-step method of Jiang is more effective in reducing headache symptoms and improving the quality of daily life.5.The clinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P< 0.05),and the comprehensive efficacy of the treatment group was up to 96.7%,significantly better than the control group of 80%.The results show that the five-step treatment of neck headache based on the theory of "lifting both muscles and bones" can achieve a good clinical effect. Conclusion:The five-step treatment of neck headache based on the theory of "lifting muscles and bones at the same time" and conventional massage can improve the clinical symptoms of patients.Jiang’s five-step method based on "muscle and bone simultaneously lifting" has more curative effect and advantages than conventional massage method. It can improve the clinical cure rate, reduce the recurrence frequency, and optimize the clinical plan for the treatment of cervical headache.
