| Objective:To evaluate the effect of burn No.8 ointment on wound healing of skin donor area.Compared with Vaseline gauze, the effects of burn No.8 ointment on wound healing time, wound infection, pain during dressing change and scar score after healing were observed to explore effective methods to promote wound healing at the donor area. Methods:A total of 30 patients admitted to the Department of burn and wound Repair,Gaoxin Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as subjects. In a self-controlled study, the same skin donor area was equally divided into two parts, randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The wounds of the treatment group were covered with No.8ointment,and the wounds of the control group were covered with Vaseline gauze.External sterile gauze and bandage were applied for pressure dressing, and the external dressing was changed every 3 days after surgery. The wound healing time at the donor site, the bacterial culture of the wound secretions, the pain scores on the 3rd,6th and 9th day of dressing change, and the scar hyperplasia at the donor site 6 months after wound healing were observed.Results:1.The wound healing time of the treatment group was(10.07±1.48)days,and that of the control group was(11.50±1.74)days.The wound healing time of the treatment group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.01).2.No bacteria were cultured on the wounds of the treatment group and the control group, showing no statistical significance(p > 0.05).3.In both the treatment group and the control group, the pain score decreased gradually at the 3rd,6th and 9th day after dressing change.Compared with the control group, the pain scores of the treatment group were lower on the 3rd and 6th days after the dressing change, the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.01),but there was no statistically significant difference on the 9th day after dressing change(p > 0.05).4.Scar score after 6 months of wound healing in the treatment group was(6.67±1.92)points,and scar score after 6 months of wound healing in the control group was(9.57±1.55)points,and scar score after 6 months in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.01),Scar thickness and scar softness scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Compared to Vaseline gauze,Burn No.8 ointment can promote wound healing faster.(2)Burn No.8 ointment is superior to traditional Vaseline gauze in reducing pain.(3)Burn No.8 ointment is superior to Vaseline gauze in reducing scar scores and improving scar hyperplasia after wound healing.(4)Burn No.8 ointment has high safety and provides an effective method for the clinical treatment of skin donor wounds. |
