Observation On The Clinical Effect Of Sijunzi Decoction Combined With VSD Based On The Theory Of Spleen Governs Muscle In The Treatment Of Pressure Ulcers Caused By Deficiency Of Qi And Blood

Objective: The study aimed to observe the clinical efficacy,wound healing rate,granulation tissue growth,ALB and HGB levels,TCM evidence score,PUSH score,and VEGF expression level of the two groups in the treatment of pressure ulcers with the application of Si Jun Zi Decoction plus orally combined with negative pressure closed drainage(VSD)based on the theory of "the spleen dominates the muscles",compared with VSD alone.We compared the clinical efficacy,wound healing rate,granulation tissue growth,ALB,HGB level,TCM evidence score,PUSH score,VEGF expression level between the two groups,in order to provide more ideas and methods for clinical application of TCM in the treatment of pressure ulcers.Methods: Seventy-two patients who met the inclusion criteria and attended the Department of Surgery of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2021.12 to 2022.12 were selected and divided into36 cases each in the study group(Si Jun Zi Decoction plus and minus internal administration + VSD)and the control group(VSD)according to the random number table method.Both groups were given the same conventional treatment except for the interventions,and by observing the wound healing rate,The clinical efficacy of Si Jun Zi Decoction plus reduction combined with VSD in the treatment of pressure ulcers with Qi and Blood deficiency was evaluated by observing the wound healing rate,granulation tissue growth,ALB and HGB levels,TCM evidence score,PUSH score,and VEGF levels in both groups.Results: A total of 72 patients were included in this study,36 cases in the study group and 36 cases in the control group.During the treatment process,3 cases were shed in the study group and 2 cases in the control group,and a total of 67 patients finally completed clinical observation,including 33 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group.(1)Baseline comparison between the two groups: There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of age,gender,disease duration,TCM evidence score,PUSH score,stage of pressure ulcer,area of trauma,initial albumin content,hemoglobin level,and VEGF expression level(P > 0.05),which were comparable.(2)Comparison between groups: the wound healing rate,granulation tissue growth score,TCM evidence score,PUSH score comparison,ALB,HGB comparison,and VEGF expression level,were statistically significant compared with the control group(P < 0.05).The overall clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared: the total effective rate of the study group was 93.94%;the total effective rate of the control group was 85.29%,and the total effective rate of the study group’s trauma was significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).(3)Intra-group comparison: the wound healing rate,granulation tissue growth score,ALB,HGB level,VEGF expression levels increased compared with those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the TCM evidence score and PUSH score decreased after treatment compared with those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)Safety evaluation: general condition(blood pressure,urine and stool,diet,etc.),laboratory tests were not abnormal in both groups.The cases in the study shed non-adverse condition induced,and the safety of clinical application of treatment was good in both groups.Conclusion: Based on the theory of the spleen dominates the muscles,the application of Si Jun Zi Decoction plus orally combined with negative pressure closed drainage(VSD)can promote the healing of pressure ulcers wounds,promote the growth of granulation tissue,regulate protein synthesis,and increase the expression level of VEGF,which has certain advantages in promoting the repair of pressure ulcers wounds.It has certain advantages in promoting the repair of pressure ulcer wounds,and is safe and reliable.
