Clinical Observation Of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture Combined With Warming Acupuncture For Subjective Tinnitus

ObjectiveTo provide a better solution for the clinical treatment of subjective tinnitus(ST),this study observed the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture for ST.MethodsSixty patients were divided into the control group and the observation group,with30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional medicine(ginkgo tablets and methylprednisolone tablets),and the observation group was treated with Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warming acupuncture.Both groups were treated for 4 consecutive weeks.The tinnitus disability scale(THI)score,Tinnitus Severity(TEQ)score and Pure Tone Auditory Threshold(PTA)test were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results1.Baseline data: there is no statistical difference between the two groups of subjective tinnitus patients in terms of gender,age and course of disease(P>0.05),which indicates that the baseline data of the two groups of subjective tinnitus patients are comparable.2.Observation index: Before treatment,there was no statistical difference between the THI score and TEQ score of subjective tinnitus patients in the two groups(P>0.05);After treatment,the THI score and TEQ score of subjective tinnitus patients in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the THI score and TEQ score in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical difference in PTA between the two groups of subjective tinnitus patients(P>0.05);After treatment,the PTA score of subjective tinnitus patients in the two groups was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the PTA in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).It shows that Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion and conventional medicine can improve the tinnitus severity and hearing of subjective tinnitus patients,but Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion has better therapeutic effect.3.Effective rate: the total effective rate of the observation group was 86.67%,which was higher than the total effective rate of the control group(70%).It shows that the clinical effective rate of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion is better than that of conventional medicine.4.Safety evaluation: Subjective tinnitus patients in the control group and the observation group did not have serious adverse reactions during treatment.Conclusions1.Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion and conventional medicine can improve the tinnitus severity of subjective tinnitus patients and improve their hearing level,and Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion has better clinical efficacy.2.Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion is safe in treating subjective tinnitus without obvious adverse reactions.
