Clinical Observation Of Lower Extremity Atherosclerosis Obliterans With Cold Coagulation And Blood Stasis By Self-made Chaigui Tongmai Prescription

Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Self-made Chaigui Tongmai Prescription in treating lower extremity atherosclerosis obliterans with cold coagulation and blood stasis.Methods:According to the criteria of disease diagnosis and case selection,we chose72 cases who had been diagnosed as lower extremity atherosclerosis obliterans with cold coagulation and blood stasis period from December 2021 to December 2022 by the ward of sore and vascular in CANGZHOU HOSPITAL OF INTERGRATED TCM-WM OF HEBEI PROVINCE.In accordance with the random number table,all of them were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 36 cases in each.Both groups were given basic treatment.On this basis,the control group was granted by beprost sodium tablets,and another group was given by Self-made Chaigui Tongmai Prescription for 21 days.By recording and comparing the clinical symptoms and signs scores,the monolial symptom scores,the intermittent claudication distance,the ankle-brachial index,as well as the hepatic and renal functions before and after,the clinical efficacy and security of the medication in two groups were evaluated.Results:In the beginning,72 cases who upping to standard were included in the trial.During the treatment,3 cases did not completed the trial due to various factors with 1 in the treatment group and 2 in the control group.Finally,69 cases completed the trial,including 35 cases in the treatment group,34 cases in the control group.Before treatment,there were no statistical difference between the two groups in gender,age,course,smoking history,the clinical symptoms and signs scores,the monolial symptom scores(skin temperature sensing score,skin color score,pain score,intermittent claudication distance score,and score of intermittent claudication relief time),the intermittent claudication distance,and the ankle-brachial index,P>0.05.After treatment,the total and the individual symptoms and signs scores of two groups decrease,but the intermittent claudication distance and the ankle-brachial index increase.The effect of treatment group were better than that of control group.The difference between groups and within groups was statistically significant,P<0.05.During the treatment,there were no obvious adverse drug reactions in each group.Indicators of the hepatic and renal functions were normal,and the drugs are relatively safe.Conclusion:Self-made Chaigui Tongmai Prescription can effectively treat the syndrome of cold coagulation and blood stasis of lower extremity atherosclerosis obliterans.It can visibly relieve the symptoms of lower limb ischemic,and extend the intermittent claudication distance.Besides,it can improve the anklebrachial index,as well as physical state and living quality.
