Clinical Efficacy Of Xuanfei Zhike Decoction Combined With Auricular Point Sticking Bean In The Treatment Of Patients With Postinfectious Cough(Syndrome Of Wind-cold Attacking Lung)

Objectives:Observe the clinical efficacy of Xuanfei Zhike Decoction combined with Auricular Point Sticking Bean in the treatment of patients with Postinfectious cough(syndrome of wind-cold attacking lung),provide new treatment ideas for the treatment of Postinfectious cough in traditional Chinese medicine,and exert the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Postinfectious cough.Methods:A total of 70 patients who met the criteria and visited the Respiratory Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group(n=35)and treatment group(n=35).During the clinical study,In the control group,2 patients were lost to follow-up,and 1 case gave up treatment due to work.Both patients in the treatment group withdrew from the trial due to personal reasons,and 65 patients actually participated in the trial.The control group was given Suhuang Zhike Capsules(Yangtze River Group Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.)orally,3 capsules/time,3 times a day.The treatment group was given Xuanfei Zhike Decoction(tutor’s experience formula)and Auricular Point Sticking Bean:① Chinese herbal decoction(honey-fried HERB A EPHEDRAE 5g,aster 15g,honey Baibu 15g,herba schizeneptae 15g,vincetoxicum purpurascens 15g,saposhnikovia divaricsta 15g,platycodon grandiflorus15g,cicada slough 5g,radix glycyrrhizae preparata 10g,3 of fructus ziziphi jujubaes,(boiled by the first decoction room in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine),a dose 150ml morning and evening.②Auricular Point Sticking Bean acupoints(lung,trachea,bronchus,kidney,sympathia,Shenmen,changed once in 2 days,7 times in total).The course of treatment was 14 days.TCM syndrome score,cough visual analogue scale,cough quality of life score,onset and disappearance time of cough and serum substance P level before and after treatment were observed.Results:1.The results of daytime cough score、nighttime cough score of the decreased before and after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).2.The onset and disappearance time of cough in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).3.The results of expectoration and pharyngeal itching symptom score decreased before and after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).4.The results of aversion to wind and cold and shortness of breath symptom score decreased before and after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).5.The serum SP levels in the two groups decreased before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Xuanfei Zhike Decoction combined with Auricular Point Sticking Bean has significant clinical efficacy in the Postinfectious cough syndrome of wind-cold attacking lung,which can improve the symptoms of cough,phlegm,throat itching,wind chill and shortness of breath,and improve the quality of life of patients.2.Xuanfei Zhike Decoction combined with Auricular Point Sticking Bean can reduce the level of serum substance P in patients and improve neurogenic inflammation.
