| Objective:To explore the relationship between NLR and the efficacy and prog nosis of targeted therapy in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma. Methods:The clinical data of 112 patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma who received targeted therapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University fro m January 2014 to May 2022 were selected and followed. To analyze the correlati on between NLR and the efficacy and prognosis of targeted therapy in patients wit h advanced renal cell carcinoma. Results: Among the 112 patients followed, the N LR and age cut-off values of ROC curves were 3.655 and 67.5 years, including N LR < 3.655 in 76 cases and NLR ≥ 3.655 in 36 cases, and the results showed th at there was a significant difference between NLR and whether the patients underw ent surgery and distant metastasis before receiving targeted therapy(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in age, pathological type, distant metastasis, lymph node metastasis, and efficacy of NLR and targeted therapy(P<0.05).Univa riate analysis showed that there was a certain correlation between the patient’s OS and his age, whether surgery was performed before receiving targeted therapy, path ological type, history of hypertension, distant metastasis,NLR,and lymph node me tastasis, and there were statistical differences(P <0.05)。 The results of multivaria te analysis showed that lymph node metastasis(P=0.002,HR=5.387,95%CI=1.84-15.77),NLR ≥ 3.655(HR=2.375,95%HRCI=1.12-5.034)and age ≥68 years(HR=4.479,95%HRCI=2.049-9.792)were independent risk factors for prognosis(P<0.05).Conclusion: NLR is associated with poor prognosis in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma.Patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma with baseline NLR<3.655 are more likely to benefit from targeted therapy; In patients with advanced ren al cell carcinoma, lymph nodes, age, and NLR were independent risk factors for pr ognosis. |
