| Objetive:To study the diagnosis and treatment effect of AECOPD(syndrome of phlegm heat stagnation in the lung)based on the theory of qi movement, and observe the changes of symptoms of patients before and after treatment,as well as the effect on serum IL-8 level and lung function. Methods:From November 2021 to December 2022,70 patients with AECOPD(syndrome of phlegm heat stagnation in the lung)who were hospitalized in the Respiratory Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a treatment group of 35 patients and a control group of35 patients according to the order of admission and referring to a random number table.During the trial, one case eliminated off of each group, and a total of 68 cases completed the clinical trial. Both groups were treated with conventional Western medicine in accordance with GOLD guidelines, while the treatment group was also orally administered with"Shengjiang Qingfei Decoction"for 2 weeks. Before and after treatment, the TCM syndrome scores, serum IL-8,pulmonary function(FEV1%pred,FEV1/FVC),and CAT scoring indicators were recorded for the two groups of patients.SPSS 26.0 was used to analyze and compare the collected data, and objective evaluation of their clinical efficacy was made.result:1.After treatment, the efficacy analysis showed that the total effective rate was comparable between the two groups(P>0.05),and the Total display effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.After treatment, compared within the group, the total score of TCM syndromes in both groups improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05),while compared between the groups, the improvement in the treatment group was more significant(P<0.05).3.After treatment, compared within the group, the single symptom scores of traditional Chinese medicine in both groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05).Compared between groups, the treatment group had better efficacy in cough,Yellow phlegm or sticky phlegm, wheezing, chest tightness, and constipation(P<0.05).But in terms of thirst like cold drinks, the therapeutic effects of the two groups were comparable(P>0.05).4.After treatment, compared within the group, the serum IL-8 index of patients in both groups decreased compared to the previous one(P<0.05).Compared between groups, the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).5.After treatment, compared within the group, both groups were able to improve the patient’s pulmonary ventilation(P<0.05).In terms of improving FEV1%pred,the treatment group had a better effect(P<0.05);However,in terms of improving FEV1/FVC,the efficacy of the two groups was comparable(P>0.05).6.After treatment, compared within the group, the CAT questionnaire scores of patients were lower than before(P<0.05).Between the two groups, the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Shengjiang Qingfei Decoction has a good clinical efficacy in treating AECOPD(syndrome of phlegm heat stagnation in the lung),which can reduce patients’TCM syndrome scores, improve clinical symptoms, and improve patients’quality of life.2.Shengjiang qingfei Decoction can effectively reduce the level of serum IL-8 in patients with AECOPD(syndrome of phlegm heat stagnation the lung)and improve the degree of airway inflammation.3.Shengjiang Qingfei Decoction can effectively improve the lung ventilation of patients with AECOPD(syndrome of phlegm heat stagnation the lung)and improve the lung function of patients. |
