Objective:To investigate systemic immunonutrition indicators systemic immuneinflammatory index(SII),platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and prognostic nutritional index(PNI)in patients with severe complications after radical operation of esophageal cancer. Methods:Retrospective analysis was performed on the data of 344 patients undergoing radical esophagectomy for esophageal cancer in thoracic surgery department of our hospital from January 2019 to December 2021.The truncation value obtained by ROC curve was used to divide SII,PLR and PNI into high and low level groups, and the differences in clinical data between groups were compared.logistic regression model was used to determine the risk factors of postoperative serious complications, and perioperative SII,PLR,PNI and other related factors, including age, gender, comorbidities, surgical anesthesia and other correlation with postoperative serious complications. Results: The results of this study showed that preoperative PLR < 121.10,age ≥ 65 years and long operation time were independent risk factors for serious postoperative complications(P < 0.05),while SII and PNI were not independent risk factors(P > 0.05).Conclusions: Preoperative low PLR is significantly correlated with the occurrence of postoperative serious complications in patients with esophageal cancer, while SII and PNI are not correlated with the occurrence of postoperative serious complications in these patients.
