Objective:To analyze the clinical data of patients with thrombocytopenia in pregnancy, and to analyze the effects of gestational week, etiology, severity, and delivery mode on maternal and infant outcomes,in order to provide a basis for clinical research. Methods:The data of 167 pregnant women with thrombocytopenia(PT)in pregnancy(observation group,PT group)were retrospectively analyzed, and the data of platelet count and maternal and infant outcomes were collected according to the degree of thrombocytopenia in three groups:mild, moderate and severe.A total of 167 pregnant women with normal platelets and no co-morbidities were used as the control group. The clinical data of the two groups were statistically analysed.Result:The gestational week for the first diagnosis of severe thrombocytopenia in the PT group was less than that of the mild and moderate groups, and the minimum value of platelets during pregnancy was less than that of the other two groups. There were 127 cases of pregnancy-associated thrombocytopenia(PAT),34 cases of pregnancy-associated hypertension(PIH),including32 cases of pre-eclampsia,6 cases of combined idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP),2 cases of antiphospholipid syndrome(APS),1 case each of acute fatty liver in pregnancy, intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnancy, and congenital thrombocytopenia in 167PT cases. The rate of caesarean section by mode of delivery was statistically significant in the PT group compared to the control group,chi-square test,χ~2=83.132,P<0.05.The incidence of postpartum haemorrhage, anaemia, blood transfusion during pregnancy and delivery, puerperal infection and transfer to haematology were significantly higher in both PT and control groups,P<0.05,which was statistically significant. The incidence of perinatal thrombocytopenia, intracranial hemorrhage, neonatal anemia, infants less than gestational age, preterm birth, apgar score less than or equal to 7,and death were all higher in both PT and control groups than in the control group,P<0.05,and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion:The more severe the thrombocytopenia, the earlier the onset, the higher the cesarean delivery rate and the greater the impact on maternal and infant outcomes.
