| Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the feeding status and feeding behavior of 613 infants aged 6-24 months in Urumqi city,to explore the factors affecting the breastfeeding of infants aged 6-24 months in this region,and to provide reference for the infant health policy in this region.Methods: A total of 613 infants aged6-24 months and their caregivers who underwent physical examination in the Department of Child Health,Health Management Center,Xinjiang Medical University from January to October 2021 were selected as subjects.Conduct a questionnaire survey of caregivers.SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis.Count data were described by frequency;The rates were compared by chi-square test.logistic regression analysis was carried out for multivariate analysis.Results: 1)The breast feeding rate was 49.4%,which was lower than that of Beijing(62.30%),Chongqing(77.68%)and Liangshan(57.00%);2)The birth mode of infants,the education level of the feeders,the time of opening milk after birth,whether the first bite of food after birth and supplementary food are prepared separately,whether the feeders have eye contact when the infants eat,the acceptance degree of new food,and whether there is picky/partial food are statistically significant;3)The mode of birth,the educational level of the feeders,the time of opening milk after birth and the picky/partial feeding of infants are the influencing factors of breastfeeding for infants aged6 to 24 months.Conclusion: The breastfeeding rate of infants aged 6 to 24 months is low in this region,which is an important target for the improvement of breast milk.Complementary food added time point is more appropriate,need to continue to maintain.The knowledge and practice of the feeders need to be strengthened.Birth mode,education level,opening time and picky/partial feeding of infants are the factors that affect breastfeeding of infants aged 6 to 24 months. |
