Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome Of Essential Thrombocytosis With Yiqi Zhuyu Presciption Combined With Hydroxy-urea

Objectives: To evaluate the evidence for the effectiveness of Hydroxy-urea(HU)combined with Yiqi Zhuyu presciption in combating Essential Thrombocytosis(ET)of blood qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,as well as to verify whether Yiqi Zhuyu prescription has an advantage in speeding up HU dose reduction.Methods: A total of 49 ET patients were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups.Orally administered HU was provided to the control group,while HU with Yiqi Zhuyu prescription was provided to the experimental group.Twelve weeks were devoted treating the two groups.Before and after treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of platelet count,neutrophil count,lymphocyte count,neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),and recorded HU decrement time.Assess the way the vasomotor symptom and the TCM symptom change in the two groups.Results:(1)Between the two groups,there were substantial variations in platelet count,neutrophil count,lymphocyte count,and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)(P<0.05).The distribution of the aforementioned study indicators between the two groups before and after therapy,however,did not differ statistically significantly(P>0.05).(2)The variation in HU decrement time between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The quantified total scores of TCM symptoms were statistically different in the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05),and fever symptoms were statistically different in the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),indicating a significant improvement.(4)Dizziness and dizziness symptoms significantly decreased,and there was no difference in the quantified total score of vasomotor symptoms between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).(5)Fisher’s exact probability test revealed a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05)and the effective rate of the experimental group was greater than that of the control group(84.00% vs 66.67%).(6)After treatment,there was no change in the safety indices between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)There is no discernible difference between HU and Yiqi Zhuyu prescription in terms of lowering platelet count,neutrophil,lymphocyte,and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR).(2)Yiqi Zhuyu Prescription has several benefits that can help with HU decrease.(3)Using Yiqi Zhuyu prescription,the TCM symptoms of fever,lightheadedness,and dizziness were considerably alleviated on the basis of HU.
