Investigation And Research On The Present Situation And Demand Of Scientific Research Ability Of Postgraduates Majoring In General Medicine In Liaoning Province

Objective: The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation,demand and possible influencing factors of scientific research ability training for postgraduates majoring in general medicine,to explore the problems existing in the cultivation of scientific research ability under the parallel training mode,and to put forward specific measures to further improve the scientific research ability of postgraduates majoring in general medicine,in order to provide a reference basis for promoting the training of highlevel general medicine talents in our country.Methods: The general medicine professional degree postgraduates from 2020 to2022 in Liaoning Province were selected as the research object,and the current situation,needs,views and possible influencing factors of their scientific research ability were investigated by means of literature research,questionnaire survey and other methods.Results: The present situation of the cultivation of scientific research ability: the compulsory courses of scientific research arranged by the school for postgraduates majoring in general medicine are not rich enough,the teaching form is relatively simple,and there is less time for students to spend on scientific research activities.the most scientific research training is thesis writing,which is mainly conducted in the form of academic lectures,and students discuss scientific research with their mentors relatively less times and time each month.The most frequently used document management software is Endnote,and the most frequently used auxiliary reading tool is Zhiyun translation.The part of scientific research ability and research self-confidence: the average score of scientific research ability of students is 3.50,which is significantly higher than the neutral score of 3,which belongs to the middle and slightly higher level.there was a significant positive correlation between the score of scientific research confidence,the frequency of monthly discussion with mentors and the score of scientific research ability.The average score of scientific research confidence of students is 3.52,which is significantly higher than the neutral score of 3,which is in the middle and slightly higher level.The view and demand part of the training of scientific research ability: most people think that the "merging" system of general practice is very important or important.the vast majority of people agree with the current training system.at present,the type of subject that students does most is case-control study,and nearly half of the students’ topic direction is chronic disease management.at present,what we are most willing to do is case-control study,and what we most hope to publish are articles of SCI type.What the students most want to do is to carry on the scientific research study through the tutor group teaching mode,but for the demand of scientific research training,each part needs more respectively: how to establish scientific research thinking,overview of research design and selection of research design types,bias and control methods in research,correct application of statistical description,basic structure of papers,management of common chronic diseases at the grass-roots level.Conclusion: The contents of the required scientific research courses arranged by the school need to be further optimized;at present,the scores of scientific research ability and confidence are still at a slightly higher level.The major requirements for scientific research and training are: how to establish general practice scientific research thinking,summary of research design and selection of research design types,bias and control methods in research,correct application of statistical description,basic structure of papers,and management of common chronic diseases at the grass-roots level.
