| Objective: As a safe and conservative treatment method, extracorporeal shock wave has been widely used in the field of sports medicine, but there is no conclusive conclusion on the treatment effect of anterior cruciate ligament injury. It is still unclear whether extracorporeal shock wave combined with rehabilitation therapy has more advantages than simple rehabilitation therapy. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of the above two treatment methods on patients with partial tears of anterior cruciate ligament, and to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods: The medical records of 56 patients with acute partial tears of ACL diagnosed in the Sports and Arthrology Clinic from September 2020 to December 2022 were collected and analyzed retrospectively.Patients who underwent conventional rehabilitation and received extracorporeal shock wave therapy were set up as the test group,24 in total, and patients who underwent conventional rehabilitation only were set up as the control group,32 in total. At the first visit and 6 months later, the patients in the two groups were examined with the front drawer test,Lachman test, pivot shift test and lever sign, and the anterior displacement distance of the tibial plateau was measured with Kneelax3,and the International Knee Documentation Committee score(IKDC),Lysholm score and VAS pain score were also performed.Statistical analysis was performed to compare whether there were statistical differences between the two groups. Results: 1.The IKDC score and Lysholm score of both groups were significantly improved after 6 months compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);compared with the control group, the knee function score of patients in the test group was higher after 6 months, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);2.The VAS pain score and tibial plateau anterior displacement distance were reduced after 6 months of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups after 6 months of treatment(P>0.05);3.There was no significant difference between the two groups in front drawer test,Lachman test, axial shift test and lever sign after 6 months(P>0.05);4.There were no adverse reactions during the treatment of extracorporeal shock wave in the test group. Conclusions: Compared with rehabilitation therapy, the patients with acute partial tears of anterior cruciate ligament treated by extracorporeal shock wave combined with rehabilitation therapy can improve knee joint function better, safety and efficacy. |
