Objective:The aim of this project is to treat cervical vertigo of qi and blood deficiency type by using conventional acupuncture points with Dong’s qi points, and to establish a control group of conventional acupuncture points to observe and compare the clinical efficacy and provide reference for optimizing the clinical treatment plan for this type of patients. Methods:Among the 72 patients included in this study,a random number table method was used to set up a treatment group of 36 cases(routine acupoint selection with Dong’s Qi points)and a control group of 36 cases(routine acupoint selection),10 times as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment. After treatment, the changes of cervical vertigo Symptom and Function Assessment Scale(ESCV),Vertigo Disorder Scale(DHI),Cervical Pain Scale(NPQ)and vertebrow-basilar artery average blood flow velocity were observed before and after treatment in the two groups, and the therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results:1.Case completion: Of the 72 patients included in this subject,67 cases were completed in the end, among which 34 cases were completed in the treatment group and 2 cases were shed, and 33 cases were completed in the control group and 3 cases were shed.2.Baseline analysis: Before treatment, statistical analysis was performed on the gender, age, course of disease, total score of cervical vertigo symptom and Functional Assessment Scale, score of vertigo disorder scale, score of cervical pain Scale, and average vertebrobasilar artery blood flow velocity of the two groups of patients, respectively. The results showed that there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05),and the difference was comparable between the two groups.3.Comparison of ESCV scale total scores: Total score of ESCV scale in both groups increased after treatment compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01);Comparison between groups: After treatment, the total score of ESCV scale between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).These results indicated that both treatments could improve the total ESCV score of patients, but the treatment group was superior to the control group.4.Comparison of DHI scale scores:Intra-group comparison: DHI scale scores in both groups were lower after treatment than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).Comparison between groups: After treatment,DHI scale score between the two groups was significantly different(P < 0.01).These results indicated that both treatments could reduce DHI scores, but the treatment group was superior to the control group.5.Comparison of NPQ scale scores: Intra-group comparison: the scores of NPQ scale in both groups were lower after treatment than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).Comparison between groups: After treatment, the total score of NPQ scale between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.002 < 0.01).These results indicated that both treatments could reduce NPQ scores, but the treatment group was superior to the control group.6.Comparison of the changes in the mean blood flow velocity of vertebrobasilar artery:Intra-group comparison: The average blood flow velocity of LVA,RVA and BA in the two groups after treatment was significantly different(P < 0.01).Comparison between groups:After treatment, the average blood flow velocity of LVA,RVA and BA between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).These results indicated that both treatments could improve the average blood flow velocity of LVA,RVA and BA,but the treatment group was superior to the control group.7.Comparison of efficacy: In the treatment group,12 cases were cured,13 cases were effective,6 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was91.18%.In the control group of 33 cases,5 cases were cured,12 cases were effective,10 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 81.82%.Comparing the efficacy of the two groups,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant, and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.both treatment methods are effective in treating cervical vertigo with deficiency of qi and blood, and the clinical efficacy of the conventional acupuncture point extraction with Dong’s qi points group is better than that of the conventional acupuncture point extraction group.2.The clinical efficacy of conventional acupuncture points combined with Dong’s qi points in treating cervical vertigo with deficiency of qi and blood is accurate, safe and reliable, and further clinical observation studies with large samples are expected.
