| Objective:To compare the efficacy and differences of ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation in the treatment of liver cancer at special site and non-special site through meta-analysis,and to provide clinical reference. Methods: Pub Med,Web of Science,Embase,Medline,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases were retrieved from July 31,2022.Only core journals were retrieved from Chinese database.Apply Review Manager5.4 to the retrieved literature for data analysis. Results: A total of 9 literatures were included in this meta-analysis,including 6 English literatures and 3 Chinese core journal literatures.A total of 2381 cases of original study data were included in this meta-analysis,including 1047 cases of special site liver cancer and 1334 cases of non-special site liver cancer. The relative risk OR(95%CI)of1-,3-and 5-year survival after microwave ablation of special site hepatocellular carcinoma and non-special site hepatocellular carcinoma were 1.44(0.59,3.51),0.83(0.66,1.05),and 1.12(0.91,1.38),respectively.The relative risk OR values of complete ablation rate after microwave ablation for liver cancer of special site and non-special site were 0.97(0.61,1.53),respectively,and the relative risk OR values of major complications after microwave ablation for liver cancer of special site and non-special site were 1.44(0.59,3.51).Conclusions: There is no significant difference in overall survival rate, complete ablation rate and incidence of major complications between special site liver cancer and non-special site liver cancer treated by ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation. This study has some shortcomings. The included articles are prospective and retrospective studies, and more randomized controlled studies are needed for verification. |
