| Objective: This paper aims to conduct a cross-sectional study on TCM syndrome elements and TCM constitution of TIA patients, analyze TCM syndrome elements and TCM constitution scale, systematically summarize analysis of TCM syndrome factors and constitution of TCM in TIA patients, and provide basis for TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of TIA patients in clinical practice.Better prevention of transient ischemic attack progression provides objective theoretical basis for cerebral infarction and prevention of patients’ disease exacerbation. Methods: In this study, based on the clinical data of patients conforming to transient ischemic attack from the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine,Traditional Chinese Medicine Changchun Hospital,Traditional Chinese Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine Hunchun Hospital,a total of 274 subjects were selected according to the incidence of TIA and divided into low-risk group,middle-risk group and high-risk group according to the score of ABCD2.Summarize TCM syndrome elements and TCM physique scale, analyze TCM physique distribution law and TCM syndrome distribution law characteristics, summarize and organize all questionnaires of investigators who meet the exclusion standard, and input them for two times. After checking and confirming the data input for two times, input them into Microsoft Excel to form the original data database.Statistical software SPSS26.0 was used for data analysis.Results:1.Distribution of TCM syndrome elements in different risk groups of TIA patients:Among 274 TIA patients,174 cases(63.50%)of phlegm,42 hot cases(15.33%),qi deficiency 30 cases(10.95%)were the most frequent syndromic elements. In different TIA risk groups, sputum turbidity in the low-risk group, the medium-risk group and the high-risk group occupied a higher proportion,62.90%,61.67% and 73.33%,respectively.The high-risk group accounted for a slightly higher percentage than the other two groups, while the low-risk group and the medium-risk group accounted for a similar proportion.Secondly, the hot also occupied a high proportion of 17.74%,13.33%,13.33%,respectively,from the low risk group to the high risk group showed a decreasing trend;Other such as Yin deficiency,Qi stagnation,qi deficiency, blood stasis rate are lower than the previous two.2.Physique distribution of TCM in different risk groups of TIA patients:Among 274 TIA patients,phlegm-dampness 130(47.45%),moisture-heat 42(15.33%)and Qi-deficiency 30(10.95%)were the most frequent constitutions of TCM.In different TIA risk groups, phlegm and dampness accounted for 45.16%,49.17% and 53.33% of the low-risk,medium-risk and high-risk groups, respectively, and showed a gradual increasing trend from low-risk to high-risk groups.Secondly, the proportion of hot and humid substances was also high, which were 17.74%,14.17% and 13.33%,respectively,and showed a decreasing trend from the low-risk group to the high-risk group. The occurrence rate of other constitution types, such as peace quality,qi deficiency quality,Yang deficiency quality,Yin deficiency quality, blood stasis quality and qi stagnation quality were lower than the previous two,and no characteristic quality was found.3.Study on relationship between TCM and clinical manifestations syndrome elements:It was found that blood stasis was negatively correlated with paroxysmal vertigo.Qi-stagnation was positively correlated with general paralysis.Blood stasis was positively correlated with paroxysmal heminumbness.Yin deficiency is positively correlated with transient speech Jian.Blood stasis was positively correlated with syncope, while sputum turbidity was negatively correlated with syncope. There was a significant positive correlation between Yin deficiency and transient speech jian;Blood stasis was positively correlated with paroxysmal heminumbness. There was a significant positive correlation between qi deficiency and syncope.Phlegm-dampness was negatively correlated with syncope. There was a significant positive correlation between qi stagnation and transient photophobia. There was a significant positive correlation between moderate and transient photophobia;Blood stasis was negatively correlated with paroxysmal vertigo.Conclusion:1.The syndromic elements with the highest frequency in transient ischemic attack patients in Jilin area were phlegm turbidness, heat and qi deficiency; These results indicate that the etiology and pathogenesis of transient ischemic attack patients in Jilin area are more related to phlegm turbidness, heat and qi deficiency.2.The most frequent TCM constitutions of transient ischemic attack patients in Jilin were phlegm-dampness,damp-heat and qi-deficiency.These results indicate that TCM constitution of transient ischemic attack patients in Jilin area is mostly related to phlegm-dampness,damp-heat and qi-deficiency.3.The first two most common symptoms of TIA patients in Jilin are paroxysmal dizziness and limb weakness.4.In the prevention and treatment of TIA,it is not only possible to reduce risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, smoking and alcohal, but also to adjust phlegm-dampness,damp-heat and Qi-deficiency into a peaceful quality from the perspective of regulating TCM syndromes and TCM constitution,so as to achieve the purpose of prevention and treatment of the disease. |
