Objective: To explore the correlation between current perception threshold and TCM syndrome types in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,to increase the accuracy of TCM syndrome differentiation in judging the severity of the disease, and to provide reference for TCM syndrome differentiation in the prevention and treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods: The subjects were inpatients who were admitted to the Department of Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases of the affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to October 2022.According to the results of CPT examination, the patients were divided into mild abnormal sensation group(group A),moderate sensory abnormality group(group B),severe sensory abnormality group(group C)and extremely severe sensory abnormality group(group D).The four diagnostic data of the patients were collected, and all the patients were classified according to the consensus of experts in the diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Neuropathy(2021 version). The data were recorded by two-person input mode and analyzed by SPSS26.0 software. Results: 1.The distribution of CPT results: group An accounted for 40.2% of the total population, group B accounted for 12.8% of the total population, group C accounted for 27.4% of the total population, group D accounted for 19.7% of the total population.2.The distribution of TCM syndrome types: 71 cases of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(30.3%),40 cases of yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(17.1%),36 cases of qi and yin deficiency with blood stasis syndrome(15.4%),42 cases of yin and yang deficiency with phlegm stasis syndrome(18.8%),35 cases of yang deficiency and cold coagulation syndrome(15.0%),8 cases of liver and kidney deficiency syndrome(3.4%).3.CPT and TCM syndrome types:(1)Distribution characteristics: CPT examination results showed that qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(56cases)and yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(22 cases)were common in group A;CPT examination showed that phlegm stasis syndrome with deficiency of both yin and yang(26 cases)and blood stasis syndrome with deficiency of both qi and yin(16 cases)in group C;and yang deficiency and cold coagulation syndrome(21 cases)in group D according to CPT test. After chi-square test,it was found that there were differences in the distribution of TCM syndrome types between group An and group B,group C and group D,and there were also differences in the distribution of TCM syndrome types between group B and group D.(3)there was significant difference in the distribution of TCM syndrome types among group A,group C and group D(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in group B.4.Analysis of related factors of CPT examination results:(1)There was no significant difference in the distribution of sex, systolic blood pressure, body mass index(Body Mass Index,BMI),triglyceride(triglyceride,TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(low density lipoprotein cholesterin,LDL-C)and uric acid among CPT.(2)there were significant differences between CPT and age, course of disease, total cholesterol(total cholesterol,TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(high density lipoprotein cholesterin,HDL-C),degree of arteriosclerosis of lower extremities and diastolic blood pressure.5.The course of disease is a significant factor affecting the distribution of TCM syndrome types in all the grouping of CPT results. In mild and severe sensory abnormalities group, age is a significant factor affecting the distribution of TCM syndrome types. Conclusion: The CPT results of DPN patients are different, the distribution of TCM syndrome types is also different, and there is a correlation between them.Through TCM syndrome type and preliminary inference of CPT results,it can provide reference for early prevention of DPN.At the same time, there are significant differences between CPT and age, course of disease, degree of arteriosclerosis of lower extremities,TC,HDL-C,etc.,which provide positive significance in guiding clinical treatment.
