Objective:In this study, the degree of hair loss, scalp itching, flaking, scalp greasiness and hair regrowth were observed as the main symptoms, and the secondary symptoms(TCM symptoms)and the Dermatological Quality of Life Inventory(DLQI)were compared before and after the treatment by combining the inverted horse acupuncture with plum blossom acupuncture. The therapeutic mechanism and efficacy of the horse acupuncture point method combined with plum blossom acupuncture in the treatment of male spleen-gastric damp-heat androgenetic alopecia, which provides a new clinical treatment idea for the treatment of male spleen-gastric damp-heat androgenetic alopecia with acupuncture and provides a new basis for the clinical research of this disease. Methods:According to the nadir criteria,a total of 86 patients with androgenetic alopecia of the spleen and stomach damp-heat type in men were included in this study, and they were randomly divided into 43 cases in the treatment group and 43 cases in the control group, with the treatment group using the inverted horse acupuncture with acupuncture points combined with plum blossom acupuncture;the control group used conventional acupuncture combined with plum blossom acupuncture.Every 4 weeks was a course of treatment, and a total of 3 courses of treatment were given. Before the treatment and at the end of the 12 th week, the improvement of the patient’s main symptoms observation index, secondary symptoms(TCM symptoms)and dermatological quality of life index(DLQI)score were observed and recorded;at the follow-up visit at the end of the 4th week after the treatment, the observation index of the patient’s main and secondary symptoms were observed and recorded. The data were summarized and concluded at the end of treatment and at the follow-up visit at week 4 after the end of treatment, and the data were analyzed using SPSS27.0 software to compare the differences between the two.Results:(1)Comparison of observed indicators of main symptoms: The treatment group was improving themain symptoms,i.e.,the degree of hair loss, greasy scalp, itchy scalp, flaking, and hair regrowth of the patients better than the control group(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of observed indicators of secondary symptoms: The treatment group was improving the secondary symptoms,i.e.,the TCM symptoms of spleen and stomach damp-heat evidence better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of dermatological quality of life scale(DLQI): The treatment group was improving the impact of hair loss on quality of life better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)Overall efficacy comparison: The effective rate was 90% in the treatment group and 79.49% in the control group, and the two groups were tested to be significantly different in the overall effect of treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: Through the clinical study of this topic,it was confirmed that both inverted horse acupuncture with acupuncture points combined with plum blossom acupuncture and conventional acupuncture combined with plum blossom acupuncture can treat male spleen and stomach damp heat type androgenetic alopecia, and inverted horse acupuncture with acupuncture points combined with plum blossom acupuncture can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of alopecia and spleen and stomach damp heat symptoms while more effectively reducing the secretion of scalp oil,and the therapeutic effect is better than the control group, with definite efficacy and less adverse effects, which is worth further promotion.
