Clinical Observation Of Zhuling Shengqing Powder Combined With Mesalazine Enteric-Coated Tablet On Ulcerative Colitis Patients With Qi Deficiency Constitution

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and constitution improvement of Zhuling Shengqing Powder combined with constitution regulation and mesalazine enteric-coated tablets on the ulcerative colitis(UC)patients with qi deficiency constitution,so as to clarify the validity and safety.Methods: Sixty patients with UC whose disease stage belonged to the clinical remission stage and whose constitution was determined to be qi deficiency were randomly average grouping split into two groups(thirty cases each in the control and treatment group).The control group was treated with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets combined with constitution regulation adjuvant therapy.The treatment group was treated with Zhuling shengqing Powder on the basis of the control group.The treatment period was 8 weeks.The single symptom score,endoscopic mucosal score,qi deficiency constitution score,constitution conversion score and quality of life score of two groups were mainly compared before and after treatment.At the same time,the overall curative effect,constitution curative effect,recurrence and safety were evaluated.Results: 1.Integral comparison:(1)Single symptom score: The symptoms of diarrhea,pus and blood stools,bellyache and tenesmus were significantly relieved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),but the treatment group had better results in terms of diarrhea and pus and blood stools(P<0.05).(2)constitution score: The qi deficiency constitution scores and constitution conversion scores were clearly improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),but the treatment group was more effective in improving the symptoms of shortness of breath,dizziness,easy to catch cold,lazy talk(P<0.05).(3)Endoscopic mucosal score : The endoscopic mucosal score were clearly improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),but the treatment group had a better effect(P < 0.05).(4)Quality of life score: The IBDQ scores of patients were substantially higher than those before treatment in both groups(P < 0.05),but the treatment group had better effects on intestinal symptoms and emotional ability(P < 0.05).2.Curative effect comparison:(1)Overall Clinical efficacy: The treatment group and control group effective rate were 83.3% and 70%,there was no statistically difference(P>0.05).(2)Constitution curative effect:The constitution curative effect of the treatment group and control group were73.3% and 40%,treatment group better than control group,there was statistically difference(P < 0.05).(3)Mucosal lesions efficacy:The effective rate of mucosal lesions of two groups were 73.3% and 50%,respectively,treatment group better than control group,there was statistically difference(P < 0.05).(4)Recurrence rates:The recurrence rates of two groups were 12% and 38.1%,respectively,there was statistically difference(P < 0.05).3.During the treatment period,no adverse drug reactions or side effects were observed in patients in both groups,and no special manifestations were observed in relevant vital signs and routine laboratory tests,suggesting good safety.Conclusion: The combination of Zhuling Shengqing Powder with constitution regulation and mesalazine enteric-coated tablets has better effect on improving clinical symptoms,intestinal mucosa,quality of life and constitution of ulcerative colitis patients with qi deficiency constitution than constitution regulation combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
