| Objective:To study the declaration of CD44 and ALDH3B1 tumor stem cell markers in gastric cancer and their connection with clinical characteristics and diagnosis of patients,for the sake of new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.Methods:To study the declaration of CD44 and ALDH3B1 tumor stem cell markers in gastric cancer and their connection with impartial characteristics and diagnosis of patients,for the sake of provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.From January 2015 to January 2018,66 surgical specimens of gastric cancer patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University were selected for surgical treatment.The declaration of CD44 and ALDH3B1 in gastric cancer tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the collected clinicopathological data and follow-up data were analyzed by SPSS23.0 statistical software.Results:To study the expression of CD44 and ALDH3B1 tumor stem cell markers in gastric cancer and their connection with impartial characteristics and diagnosis of patients,for the sake of new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.From January 2015 to January 2018,66 surgical specimens of gastric cancer patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University were selected for surgical treatment.The expression of CD44 and ALDH3B1 in gastric cancer tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry,and the collected clinicopathological data and follow-up data were analyzed by SPSS23.0 statistical software.Both CD44 and ALDH3B1 were expressed in gastric cancer tissues.The positive expression rate of CD44 in this group was 53.03%(35/66),and the positive expression rate of ALDH3B1 was 39.3%(26/66).The expression of ALDH3B1 was significantly correlated with T stage(P=0.004),N stage(P =0.009),tumor size(P =0.003),vascular invasion(P =0.033),lymph node metastasis(P=0.012),pTNM stage(P =0.005),and CA19-9(P =0.005);CD44 positive expression was significantly correlated with T stage(P =0.001),N stage(P =0.001),tumor size(P =0.001),vascular invasion(P =0.001),lymph node metastasis(P=0.001),pTNM stage(P =0.001),and CA19-9(P =0.014).In the relevant univariate analysis,the patient’s T stage(3-4 stages)(P =0.001),N stage(2-3 stages)(P =0.001),tumor size(≥ 5cm)(P=0.001),vascular invasion(P=0.001),lymph node metastasis(P =0.001),pTNM stage(Ⅲ /Ⅳ)(P =0.001),CA19-9(≥ 37 k U/L)(P =0.001),CD44 positive(P =0.001)ALDH3B1 positive(P =0.001)and combined indicators(both CD44 and ALDH3B1 positive)(P =0.001)were related to the survival time of patients.Cox multivariate analysis showed that CD44 positive expression(P =0.006),ALDH3B1 positive expression(P=0.004),ALDH3B1 combined with CD44 positive expression(P =0.005),lymph node metastasis(P =0.003),N stage 2 to 3(P =0.026)were autonomous aspects affecting the prospect of gastric cancer patients.Conclusion:(1)CD44 and ALDH3B1 are both positive in gastric cancer tissues,and they may be involved in the occurrence of gastric cancer.(2)The expression of CD44 and ALDH3B1 was significantly correlated with T stage,N stage,tumor size,vascular invasion,lymph node metastasis,pTNM stage and CA19-9 level,which suggested that they might participate in the development of gastric cancer.(3)CD44positive expression,ALDH3B1 positive expression,CD44 and ALDH3B1 combined positive expression,lymph node metastasis,and N stage of 2-3 are independent risk factors affecting the survival period after radical resection of gastric cancer. |
