| ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical value of serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(s ICAM-1)in alcohol-induced osteonecrosis of femoral head(AIONFH).MethodsThe clinical data of 64 AIONFH patients who were admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to March 2022 were retrospectively collected, and 63 healthy subjects who underwent physical examination during the same period were used as controls.Serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(s ICAM-1)concentration levels in the two groups were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The clinical data of AIONFH patients and healthy subjects were compared, and the serum s ICAM-1concentration levels of AIONFH patients with different ARCO stages, before and after collapse were compared. The correlation between serum s ICAM-1 concentration levels and disease severity was analyzed, and the clinical value of serum s ICAM-1concentration levels in the diagnosis of AIONFH was evaluated by ROC curve.ResultsThe serum s ICAM-1 level in AIONFH patients was significantly higher than that in healthy subjects(P<0.01).The serum s ICAM-1 level in AIONFH patients after femoral head collapse was significantly higher than that before femoral head collapse(341.93 ± 133.70)ng/ml(197.41 ± 94.41)ng/ml(P<0.01).Serum s ICAM-1 level was significantly different among patients with different ARCO stages(P<0.01),and serum s ICAM-1 level was positively correlated with ARCO stage and VAS score, and negatively correlated with Harris score(P<0.01).ROC curve analysis showed that when the cut-off value of serum s ICAM-1 level was 240.99 ng/ml,the sensitivity was78.10%,the specificity was 71.40%,and the area under the curve was 0.818(95%CI0.746-0.891).ConclusionThe increased serum s ICAM-1 level can reflect the severity of AIONFH and is a potential marker for the diagnosis of AIONFH. |
