| Purpose The change of lower limb rotation alignment index under physiological state was measured and analyzed to explore the correlation between lower limb rotation alignment index and knee osteoarthritis. Methods Part I: A total of 322 patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from August 2017 to August 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, with an average age of 56.43±10.78 years old and a range of(20-79)years old. There were146 males and 176 females. They were divided into 6 groups according to age: 20-29 years old,30-39 years old,40-49 years old,50-59 years old,60-69 years old and 70-79 years old.Femoral tibial torsion Angle(FTA),tibial torsion Angle(TTA),Femoral tibial torsion Angle(FTTA)were measured by lower limb CT,Single variance analysis was used to compare the difference of lower limb rotation alignment indexes in different age groups, and the difference of lower limb rotation alignment indexes in different age groups was analyzed by gender and left and right side stratification.Part II: Retrospective analysis of 322 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from August 2017 to August 2022,average age 56.43±10.78 years old,range(20-79)years old; There were 146 males and 176 females. They were divided into I-IV groups according to the Kellgren-Lawrence scale of osteoarthritis.Femoral torsion Angle(FTA)and Tibial torsion Angle(Tibial torsion Angle)were measured by lower limb CT,standard ortho lateral X-ray of knee joint and standard full lower limb weight-bearing X-ray of knee joint,Femoral tibial torsion Angle(FTTA),femoral tibial torsion angle(ftta),Hip knee ankle angle(HKA),medial proximal tibial Angle(medial proximal tibial angle,FTTA),femoral tibial torsion Angle(ftta),hip knee ankle Angle(HKA),medial proximal tibial Angle,MPTA),joint line convergence angle(JLCA),Lateral angle of distal femur(MDFA),Posterior slop of tibia(Posterior slop,PS),Patellar height(Ph),TT-TG value, lateral patellofemoral angle(lateral patellofemoral angle(LPA).Spearman correlation was used to analyze the correlation between FTA,FTTA,TTA and other indicators respectively. Results Part I: FTTA decreased with the increase of age, while FTA and TTA did not change significantly with the increase of age. There was no significant difference in FTA and TTA between different age groups. The FTA in female population decreased with the increase of age. There is no significant difference in the axial rotation Angle of the left and right sides of the same individual.Part II: Among different grades of bone joints, the differences of FTTA and TTA were statistically significant, while the differences of FTA were not.TTA and FTTA were positively correlated(rs=0.228,P <0.05);There was a negative correlation between FTA and JLCA(rs=-0.205,P < 0.05),and a positive correlation between FTTA and MPTA,FTTA and JLCA,TTA and MPTA(rs=0.026,P < 0.05;rs=0189,P < 0.05;rs=0.402,P < 0.001),;There is no correlation between FTA,FTTA,TTA and PS.There was a positive correlation between FTA and TT-TG,FTA and LPA(rs=0.196,P < 0.05;rs=0.244,P < 0.001),there was a negative correlation between TTA and TT-TG(rs=-0.271,P < 0.001),and there was no correlation between the other indexes. Conclusion 1.FTTA decreased with the increase of age, while FTA and TTA did not change significantly with the increase of age.2.In female population,FTA reached its peak at the age of 30-39,and then decreased with the increase of age.3.FTTA and TTA decreased with the aggravation of osteoarthritis, while FTA had no significant change with the aggravation of osteoarthritis4.MPTA was positively correlated with FTTA and TTA,tibial varus increased, tibial torsion decreased, and tibial torsion decreased relative to femur.5.The torsion Angle of femur is positively correlated with the stability of patella, while the torsion Angle of tibia is negatively correlated with the stability of patella. The torsion Angle of femur increases, the torsion Angle of tibia decreases, and the stability of patella decreases. |
