Objective:Research shows that the compliance of inhaled corticosteroids in patients with bronchial asthma is poor. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of out-of-hospital health education on the compliance and treatment effect of inhaled corticosteroids in outpatients with bronchial asthma.Methods:300 patients with bronchial asthma diagnosed for the first time in the outpatient clinic of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from September 2021 to June2022 were selected. The patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 150 patients each by random number table method. The control group received routine health education in the hospital and guidance on medication of inhalation devices. The patients in the observation group joined the asthma patient management Wechat group on the basis of the control group, and sent asthma prevention Treatment and other related knowledge, and timely answer each patient’s medication or medical treatment questions through We Chat group, regularly hold online lectures to popularize disease related knowledge, and remind each patient to use medicine and return to the hospital on time through We Chat or telephone. After 3 months of intervention, the general data, medication compliance,ACT scores and pulmonary function indexes(FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF)and Fe NO values of the two groups of patients were investigated by questionnaire. Results:Totally 124 patients in the control group and 131 patients in the observation group were collected with complete data. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of general data, pre intervention pulmonary function indicators,Fe NO values and ACT scores(P>0.05).After 3 months of intervention, the two groups were compared within the group. The scores of FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF and ACT were all higher than before the intervention, and the Fe NO value was lower than before the intervention, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After intervention,107patients in the observation group had better treatment compliance than 82 patients in the control group(P<0.05);After intervention,FEV1,FEV1/FVC and the scores of ACT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the value of Fe NO was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After intervention, the FVC and PEF in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Out of hospital health education can improve the compliance of inhaled corticosteroids and improve the pulmonary function of outpatients with bronchial asthma.
