Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between abnormal Heart Rate Recovery(HRR)and intraoperative hypotension and postoperative complications in patients undergoing laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Methods:A total of 60 patients, aged 60~75 years and of any gender, with ASAII or III,who underwent elective laparoscopic gastrectomy for gastric cancer between November 2021 and July 2022,were enrolled, patients were divided into 2 groups based on the results of 1-Minute heart rate recovery(HRR1)after the preoperative 6-Minute Walk Test(6MWT): HRR Normal Group: HRR1 > 12 times(Group A,N = 30);Patients with abnormal HRR were divided into two groups: Group B(N = 30)and Group B(N = 30).The general conditions of the patients(age, sex ratio,ASA grade, height, weight,BMI,proportion of patients with underlying diseases before surgery,6MWD,duration of surgery, duration of anesthesia,Transfusion volume, bleeding volume, urine volume),the frequency of intraoperative hypotension, the duration of hypotension, the amount of intraoperative noradrenaline and Postoperative complications(using Postoperative morbidity survey POMS as criteria)were recorded. The above indexes were compared between the two groups by statistical analysis. Results:There was no significant difference in general condition between Group A and group B(P>0.05),in Group B,the frequency of intraoperative hypotension was significantly increased(F =-1.995,P< 0.05),the duration of intraoperative hypotension was significantly prolonged(F=-2.034,P<0.05),and the amount of intraoperative(noradrenaline was significantly increased(F=-1.999,P<0.05).Compared with Group A,group B had significantly higher morbidity in lung(2=4.286,P<0.05),gastrointestinal(2=4.812,P<0.05),pain(2=4.286,P<0.05)and cardiovascular system(2=4.043,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in infection, kidney, blood, wound complication and nervous system(P>0.05),the number of postoperative complications ≥ 3 in Group B was significantly increased(2=10.417,P<0.05).Conclusion:Abnormal HRR after exercise was associated with an increased frequency of intraoperative hypotension,a prolonged period of hypotension,an increased noradrenaline dose, and an increased incidence of postoperative complications.
