ObjectiveTo understand the epidemic status of overweight and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Lanzhou,analyze the possible influencing factors of overweight and obesity,and provide a scientific basis for the etiological exploration of overweight and obesity in primary and secondary school students in Lanzhou and the prevention of overweight and obesity.MethodsData from physical examinations and questionnaires of primary and secondary school students in Lanzhou 2020-2010,a national platform for monitoring and intervention of common diseases and health risk factors among students,were 2021,a total of 9221 students aged 6 to 18 were selected as subjects.7954 students participated in the questionnaire survey on health influencing factors,and 7942 questionnaires were valid,with an effective rate of99.85%.Using Excel 2016 to screen overweight and obese people,using SPSS 25.0 to compare the prevalence of overweight and obesity among primary and middle school students in different years,genders and regions by~2Test,and single factor test was used to examine the factors that may affect overweight and obesity,logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of overweight and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Lanzhou.Results1.Current situation of overweight and obesity in primary and secondary school students:from 2020 to 2021,a total of 1 406 people were detected overweight and 1 219 people were obese,with detection rates of 15.25%and 13.22%,and the total overweight and obesity rate was 28.47%;The detection rate of overweight was the highest in the senior three group and the highest in the fourth grade group.The detection rates of overweight and obesity in 2021were 16.11%and 13.71%,respectively,and the detection rates of overweight and obesity in2020 were 14.32%and 12.69%,respectively,which were higher in 2021 than in 2020.The detection rates of overweight and obesity in boys were 17.08%and 15.87%,and the detection rates of overweight and obesity in girls were 13.33%and 10.45%,respectively,which were higher for boys than girls.The detection rates of overweight and obesity among urban students were 17.22%and 16.27%,respectively,and the detection rates of overweight and obesity among suburban students were 12.95%and 9.67%,respectively,which were higher in urban areas than in suburbs.2.Analysis of influencing factors of overweight and obesity:drinking sugary drinks in the past week,eating fried food more than once a day in the past week,watching TV for an average of 1 hour or more per day in the past week,and attending cultural cram classes for 1hour or more in the past week were the risk factors for overweight and obesity(OR value was>1,P<0.05).Sometimes eating or eating breakfast every day,60 minutes or more of medium-to-high intensity exercise for 1 day or more in the past week,outdoor rest in the outdoors,and an average outdoor activity time of 1 hour or more per day in the past week are the protective factors of overweight and obesity(OR value<1,P<0.05).Conclusion1.The detection rate of overweight and obesity among primary and secondary school students in Lanzhou City is high,and the detection rate of overweight and obesity varies between different years,school segments,genders and regions.2.Sugary drinks,excessive intake of fried foods,participation in cultural cram classes for1 hour or more,and watching TV for 1 hour or more per day are risk factors for overweight and obesity.3.Eating breakfast,60 minutes or more of medium-to-high-intensity exercise for 1 day or more a week,going outdoors during recess and an average of 1 hour or more of outdoor activity time a week are protective factors for overweight and obesity.
