Objective:By sorting out Professor Li Tingkai’s papers published in journals, books, academic lectures and scientific research topics, and combining clinical practice and the study of TCM classics, this paper summarizes Professor Li Tingkai’s experience in treating cough with TCM thinking, and provides feasible ideas and methods for TCM treatment of cough.Inheriting academic thoughts and clinical experience of Professor Zhu Jinzhong, the second batch of famous Chinese medicine experts in China.Methods:1.In-depth dialogue, listening to the tutor’s medical practice and learning experience, and exploring the academic origin of the tutor.2.collecting and sorting out the academic papers, lectures, teaching videos published or participated by the tutor, reading the works reflecting his therapeutic experience and academic thoughts, etc.,and summarizing and refining the tutor’s clinical experience.3.Learning from the teacher, sorting out the collected outpatient medical records according to syndrome types and inducing factors, exploring the tutor’s diagnostic ideas and the truth of prescription medication, and summarizing his clinical experience.Results:1.Teachers believe that the causes of cough are related to many factors, which are generally divided into external factors and internal injuries. There must be external and personnel influences between heaven and earth, among which six exogenous pathogens and drug pathogens are the main exogenous pathogens, and wind pathogens are easy to combine with other pathogens to cause diseases, with wind-cold pathogens being the most common.Internal injuries are mainly due to improper diet, pathological products, improper work and rest, and excessive emotions. The emotion is often caused by more than two kinds of intercourse, and it is the easiest to block the qi movement.2.The idea of diagnosis and treatment pays attention to "harmony" and "harmony",taking harmony as the key link, and adjusting one’s diagnosis, legislation and prescription with the result of seeking harmony. It is emphasized that the pulse syndrome should be combined with the reference, and the four diagnoses should not be missed, but they are not limited here.Sometimes there is one syndrome,so it is not necessary to know everything; In the face of many symptoms,we should make a unified diagnosis.Paying attention to hiding traitors, sometimes the image that runs counter to other manifestations is the most critical part of the disease;Paying attention to the role of shaoyang cardinal and regulating liver-qi in human body.3.According to the classification and treatment, there are occasional cold;Dryness causes lung injury;Internal phlegm, exogenous cold; There is stagnation of heat inside and exogenous wind and cold;Phlegm fire blocks lung;Liver fire invades the lungs;Retention fluid in the lungs Cardinal disadvantage, lung qi loss of publicity;Stagnation of liver-qi and stagnation of phlegm;Deficiency of lung yin;Deficiency of both qi and yin,and mutual stagnation of phlegm and qi;The deficiency of both qi and yin,phlegm-dampness block and other thirteen categories;Respectively give Guizhi Thickening Puxingzi Decoction,Xingsu Powder or Sangxing Decoction,Sangju Decoction,Xiaoqinglong Decoction or jinfeicao powder,Daqinglong Decoction,Qingqi Huatan Decoction,Xieqing Pill,Erchen Wuwei Jiangxin Decoction,Chaihu Zhike Decoction,Modified Maimendong Decoction,Cough Enuresis Decoction,Huangqi Biejia Decoction or Fourteen Wendan Decoction.4.For clinical practice, the tutor is guided by the classic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, take syndrome differentiation and treatment as the principle, based on prescriptions, and the medication can be flexibly increased and decreased according to the actual situation of patients, which initially shows the good curative effect and unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating cough, and has certain reference significance. Conclusion:The tutor’s diagnosis and treatment of cough takes harmony as the key link, combining pulse and syndrome, paying attention to the situation that qi is unfavorable and hiding rape alone, and taking this as the big idea to guide clinical syndrome differentiation, prescription selection and medication, and combining theory with practice, which provides a feasible idea and direction for TCM to treat cough, which is worthy of further inheritance and development.
