ObjectiveThis paper analyzes the correlation between clinical indices and meridian energy characteristics of phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution in patients with hyperuricemia, and seeks clinical ideas and scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of hyperuricemia in Chinese medicine.MethodsUsing the clinical epidemiology case-control study method,2,022 people who participated in the medical check-ups at the "Cure the Disease" medical check-up center of Shanxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December2021 were selected,474 people with incomplete data were excluded, and 1,548 people with complete medical check-up data were collected.According to the nadir criteria,75 people with phlegm-dampness constitution hyperuricemia and 61 people with dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia were included in the hyperuricemia group;268 people with normal uricemia of phlegm-dampness constitution and 275 people with normal uricemia of dampness-heat constitution were in the normal uricemia group.A clinical information database was established to record the basic information, clinical test indexes and TCM meridian test data of the included patients for correlation analysis, and P < 0.05 represented a significant difference with statistical significance.Results1.The phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia groups accounted for the largest number of people aged 40-49 years, and the majority of men were in the gender composition;the mean value of body mass index(BMI)in the two HUA groups was greater than 24 kg/m2,which belonged to the overweight range and was statistically different from the normal uricemia groups of the two constitutions.2.The analysis of clinical index results showed that the diastolic blood pressure, cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting glucose, glutathione transaminase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase,γ-glutamyl transferase and blood creatinine levels were significantly higher in the phlegmatic and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia groups than in the homozygous normal uricemia group(P < 0.05).According to Pearson as well as Spearman correlation analysis of serological indicators between the two physical hyperuricemia groups, the blood uric acid levels in both phlegmatic and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia were significantly and positively correlated with creatinine levels only(P < 0.01).3.The detection rate of "fatty liver" on abdominal ultrasound was significantly higher in the phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia groups than in the phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution normal uricemia groups(P < 0.05),and there were no significant differences in the abnormal rates of electrocardiogram and psychological test.4.The analysis of the results of meridian sensing data from the left and right sides of the same meridian showed that there was a significant difference between the foot Shao-Yin kidney meridian and hand Turk-Yin pericardial meridian in the phlegm-dampness constitution hyperuricemia group(P < 0.05);the differences between the hand Shao-Yin heart meridian, hand sun small intestine meridian, hand Shao-Yang San Jiao meridian and foot Turk-Yin liver meridian in the dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia group were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The analysis of the results of the meridian sensing data of the two meridians of the same name hand and foot showed that the differences in the mean values of the meridian sensing data of the hand and foot Shaoyang meridians in the phlegmdampness constitution hyperuricemia group were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the differences in the mean values of the meridian sensing data of the hand and foot Shaoyin as well as the hand and foot Turk’s Yin meridians in the dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia group were statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Correlation analysis of sensory balance data showed that autonomic nerves in the phlegmatic hyperuricemia group were negatively correlated with conduction coefficient,upper/lower ratio, and yin/yang ratio(P < 0.05);yin/yang ratio was negatively correlated with conduction coefficient and upper/lower ratio(P < 0.05);autonomic nerves in the dampnessheat constitution hyperuricemia group were significantly negatively correlated with conduction coefficient and upper/lower ratio(P < 0.01).The yin/yang ratio was positively correlated with the conduction coefficient(P < 0.05);the upper/lower ratio was positively correlated with the conduction coefficient(P < 0.05);the left/right ratio in both body type hyperuricemia groups did not significantly correlate with the rest of the sensing balance data.Conclusions1.Strengthening health education(lifestyle, exercise pattern, etc.)and weight management for men aged 40 to 49 and women aged 30 to 49 can help the prevention and treatment of hyperuricemia.2.Patients with phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia may present with pathological changes such as overweight or obesity, elevated blood pressure, abnormal glucolipid metabolism, and impaired liver and kidney function. Therefore, the treatment of hyperuricemia should not only focus on lowering uric acid, but also take into account weight reduction, blood pressure reduction, lipid reduction, and liver protection.3.Phlegm-dampness constitution and dampness-heat constitution hyperuricemia often manifests itself as a deficiency of this substance and a real one."Heart and kidney disconnection","three jiao disruption" and "liver and gallbladder disorder" may be important pathogenic mechanisms in the development of hyperuricemia."Phlegm,dampness-heat and blood stasis may be important pathological bases and products of hyperuricemia.4.Chinese medicine treatment of hyperuricemia should pay attention to the holistic concept, treat the evidence, and consider from multiple perspectives, and can guide the clinical treatment of hyperuricemia from the aspects of "treating the heart and kidney, treating the three jiao, treating the liver and gallbladder together and activating blood circulation.
