The Study Of Cultivate Yuan Nourishing Heart Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Diarrhea Irritable Bowel Syndrome Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Syndrome

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Cultivate Yuan Nourishing Heart acupuncture in the treatment of diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.MethodsThe 72 subjects included were from the out-patient clinic of acupuncture of Foshan Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine and volunteers.They were divided into treatment group treated with acupuncture of Peiyuan Yangxin method,and control group with Shenlingbaizhu Powder orally according to random method.Groups were treate for 4weeks.The changes of the TCM syndrome scores,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),IBS questionnaire(IBS-SSS),IBS quality of life score(IBS-QOL)and their sub-items were compared.Statistical software was used to analyze the result and to evaluate the efficacy.ResultsDue to the epidemic reasons and personal reasons in the later stage of the study,there were 6 shedding cases in the treatment group and 6 shedding cases in the control group.finally,30 cases were included in the treatment group and the control group.After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was more effective in improving the spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.In improving the scores of TCM syndrome,the scores of diarrhea and abdominal distension and abdominal pain in the two groups after treatment were lower than before,and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better in improving the symptoms of diarrhea and abdominal distension and abdominal pain in these patient.In terms of addiction,fatigue and aggravation factors,the scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05),but there were significant differences between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05).The results showed that both groups could improve the symptoms of patients with the disease(P < 0.05).The SAS scores both decreased after treatment,but there was no significant differenc(P >0.05).But the difference in the treatment group was higher,and P < 0.05,so,it was better in relieving anxiety.The IBS-SSS scores both decreased after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that it can better improve the severity.The score of IBS-QOL both decreased after treatment,and there was no significant difference(P >0.05).But the difference in the treatment group was higher,indicating that it was better in improving the quality of life.The scores of emotion、daily activities、health concerns these items both decreased after treatment,but there was no significant difference(P >0.05).The score of diet avoidance both decrease,and there was significant difference(P < 0.05).The score of social function both groups decrease,and there was no significant difference(P >0.05).Compared with the difference,the treatment group was higher(P < 0.05).In terms of sex scores,both decrease,but there was no significant difference between or within the two groups(P < 0.05).In terms of social communication both decrease,there was no significant difference(P < 0.05).Compared with the difference within the two groups,the difference in the treatment group was higher,and P < 0.05.After4 weeks,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,while the control group was 66.67%.There was a statistically significant difference in the overall curative effect between the two groups(P =0.028<0.05).ConclusionCultivate Yuan Nourishing Heart acupuncture treatment can more effectively improve the clinical symptoms of IBS-D patients with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.It has great advantages in improving patients’ quality of life and alleviating patients’ anxiety,and there is high safety,so,this method is worthy of promoting..
