| In this paper,questionnaire and interview were used to study the washback effect of the HSK level 3 on Pakistan students at a university in Tianjin.This paper conducted a questionnaire on 36 Pakistan students.In addition,6 Pakistan students were interviewed randomly as a supplementary study on the washback effect.The problems studied in this paper are as follows:First,what positive and negative effects did HSK level 3 test have on Pakistan students?Second,how should the college,teachers and students coordinate to help Pakistan students learn Chinese better?The main findings are as follows:The HSK level 3 test has both positive and negative impacts on Pakistan students,and the positive impacts are greater than the negative ones.During the preparation period,most students prepare for the HSK test,making test plan,changing study content,increasing Chinese learning interest.The negative effect is that students pay attention to test skills,tend to do test questions and memorize words,which aggravate students’ study burden,and bring anxiety.Based on the questionnaire and interview,this paper puts forward some suggestions to the college,teachers and Pakistan students. |
