The Shapowei community is a typical fishing community in history.It has formed a unique fishery culture for hundreds of years and nurtured unique marine folk beliefs.At present,Xiamen city is in the process of transformation and development,and the Shapowei community has carried out self-innovation in line with the trend of The Times.All aspects of the economy,culture,and society are different from the past,and the transition from a fishing community to a commercial community is taking place.As an important part of community culture,folklore belief is being in the tendency of actively transformation.At present,research on Shapowei folklore belief is still relatively limited during the transition period.This thesis would like to do some supplementary research on this.This paper mainly discusses how the folklore belief of Shapowei changes itself inthe context of the contemporary transformation of the community,so as to integrate itself with the community and achieve common development.Through my observation and induction,I find that there are many innovations and changes in the folklore belief of Shapowei.One is to give the traditional ceremony activities new connotation of The Times,such as adding a contemporary adult ceremony to the traditional "Qi Niang Ma Birth" ceremonies;Secondly,there have been pioneered some new activities,such as the regularly holding of "Yushapo Lecture Hall",which is a kind of public welfare lecture;Third,the degree of its own openness has reached a new height,and the frequency of external interactions has significantly increased.Fourth,it redefines the boundaries of sacred space,not only in terms of geographical location,but also in terms of expansion in cyberspace.Through the concrete analysis of several examples,this thesis presents a new interaction mode between folklore belief and community from multiple perspectives.At the same time,it also focuses on the change of folklore belief itself,that is,how to enhance its influence through online and offline ways and maintain the sacredness and authority of belief.The current folklore belief not only keeps up with the rhythm of the community’s transformation,the various activities organized also enhance the cohesion of the community.The community also gives a lot of positive feedback on the folklore belief,such as free development environment and resource policy support.The two have formed a good interactive relationship in the new era and achieved a win-win situation.
