The Relationship Between Social Support And Life Satisfaction Of Cross-border Illegitimacy Adolescents

Through the investigation of some middle school students and the Research objects of this paper in some villages of Guangxi border area,explore the relationship between social support,self-identity and life satisfaction of Chinese and Vietnamese cross-border illegitimacy adolescents in Guangxi.Using the social support scale compiled by Ye Yuemei and Dai Xiaoyang,the self-identity scale compiled by psychologists Ochse and Plug,and the life satisfaction scale for adolescent students compiled by Zhang Xinggui and He Liguo.Descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,correlation analysis,regression analysis and intermediary effect analysis were carried out with SPSS18.0.The results show that:(1)There are significant differences in the total scores of social support scale,the objective support scores,the family satisfaction scores and the freedom satisfaction scores between the two sexe of the Chinese and Vietnamese cross-border illegitimacy adolescents in Guangxi,and the scores of girls are generally higher than those of boys.Gender has no significant difference in other dimensions.(2)There was a significant positive correlation between social support,self-identity and life satisfaction of Chinese and Vietnamese cross-border illegitimacy adolescents.There is a significant positive relationship between social support and self-identity;there is a significant positive correlation between social support and life satisfaction;there is also a significant positive correlation between self-identity and life satisfaction.The correlation coefficient between them was moderate.(3)The factors of social support,such as subjective support,objective support and the utilization of support,have a significant positive prediction on self-identity.(4)The social support factors of Chinese and Vietnamese cross-border illegitimacy adolescents in Guangxi have significant positive predictions on friendship satisfaction,family satisfaction,academic satisfaction,school satisfaction and environmental satisfaction;Objective support has a significant positive prediction on freedom satisfaction,while subjective support and utilization of support have no significant prediction on freedom satisfaction.(5)The self-identity of Chinese and Vietnamese cross-border illegitimacy adolescents in Guangxi has a significant positive prediction on friendship satisfaction,family satisfaction,academic satisfaction,freedom satisfaction and school satisfaction.(6)Self-identity plays a part in mediating between social support and life satisfaction.Social support can directly predict life satisfaction and indirectly predict life satisfaction through the mediating role of self-identity.
